Hey Gang, I am looking for a new mod. My phidius was great but I am too rough for a wooden mod. it is currently held together with gorilla glue and some tears.

Anyways I would like something pocket sized. Nothing as big as the tekk. And I would like it to use the 18650. I am thinking about the gold digger but I am not sure if it will accept the 18650 or not. I also want something that is easily obtainable unlike the Reo's are.

No juice feeders either. I have found my juice is to thick to get them to work reliably. I think I am going to try the new clearomizers. Do they make those in LR?

anyways What would you guys and gals reccomend for me? My wife is not going to let me keep dropping big money on these so this one has to last and be all I want for a good while!

thanks,

BW

So I am more or less just posting to bump this back up to the top.

I exclusively use my mini REOs these days. I vape 100% VG juices in my mini REOs and only use the minis because I'm a small person with really small hands. I do understand one's frustration with how difficult it had been to get a REO in recent months, but the website is back up and running. He had Grands on there for a couple of days and will be putting mini's up on Friday this week. Anyway...I wish you luck in your search and hope someone can point you in a better direction.

Bump! :)

I have had a tek for a whole three days now and I will say this, for being so huge in terms of MAh's, it has a pretty good pocket shape. I intended for it to live on my desk, or go on long trips, but its been in my pocket or hand or dash-cubby since I got it. I also have a Buzz, much lower MAhs, (2 CR123's) but it almost feels bigger because it is so long. The tek mod is an inch shorter.

Another great mod, from a value point of view, is the roughstack from madvapes. Relatively cheap, totally rugged, and nice and short. The top button means you can't use a wide modded cart, like a syringe mode or a map tank, but thats not too bad, and on the plus side it doesn't misfire very often in your pocket because the atty/cart protects the button. Stock, it takes 18350's which will give you about 1000 MAhs, you can get an extension tube and stack batteries, or I think, use 18650s.

Its not pretty, but after a few months it gets a nice patina from your hand/pocket, and has some character.

The Precise P18 takes the batteries you are looking to use and is built very very well. I just got my P16 and love it, looks amazing and works flawlessly. Super T Manufacturing is where you wanna go and take a look. Here is my P16 next to an eGo, both with 510 XL Clear cartomizers from gotvapes.com

I have been down the road you are going down now. I have a multitude of mods 3.7v and 6v and all them are collecting dust in a box over in the corner. Even my Precise P18 hasn't been touched in weeks. Why you ask? Variable voltage.(or wattage in the Darwins case) Once you try a VV mod everything else just pales in comparison. The ability to fine tune voltage to bring out the best flavor and vapor from your favorite juice/atty combo is incredible.

I bought my first VV mod (Notcigs The Buzz) about a month ago and I wish I had bought it first before anything else. I could have saved myself a lot of searching and even more money. I don't care which VV you choose be it a Buzz or Infinity from Notcigs or the Provari from Provape or even the Incredible Darwin from Evolv. Once you have the ability to control heat in your mod nothing else will do.

Just remember 3.7v is 3.7v is 3.7v no matter what the mod looks like. I just want to save you all the hassle I went through finding that perfect vape. VV is the closest to perfect I've found so far.

Sorry to run on and on but I just want you to take a hard look at variable voltage before purchasing another 3.7v or 6v mod that is going to vape just like the ones you have already.

Unless of course you enjoy collecting mods just to collect them then pick your poison. But even then I still vote for a VV mod.

Very wise sorrid. I would agree with you on this. VV is the best no doubt.
