Hello guys, I am new to vaping and I decided to buy a kangartech subox mini kit to start with. My huge problem is that I charge the battery and while I use the vape and click the button to vape it suddenly goes off. To solve this I take the battery out of the pins, put it back take a few hits and then it goes again off. Please help me guys I am really sad ... :(

Ok, looked it up and it does use an 18650 battery. Do check the connections, a bit of high percentage alcohol on a q-tip to clean the battery itself and the contact. Just make sure not to saturate your q-tip so it drips.

I use a bit and I mean a micro bit of brass cleaner on a q-tip every few weeks to clean and finish off with alcohol.

I really think that the circuit board in combination of what specs your 18650 battery has as far as amperage etc. might be causing the system to shut down to catch up with the discharge.

Though many people vape while charging, I myself would not. Just from the few times I charge my phone while talking, it notice it gets HOT. Im sure that my old iPhone 4 is not as advanced for talking and charging as newer phones but I would not chance it.

Depending on wattage I really think you are not letting the battery catch up. Simple fix, buy an extra "good" 18650 to switch out while charging the other.

I got some decent LG for about 4 or 5 bucks at RTD vapes. I dont vape at wattage higher than 12 - 14 so the amperage is fine for me.

What the other battery you placed in there fully charged or also in the same situation?

Either the device is failing or get an external charger and fully charge it before using it.

Or I know this is kinda screwy, but turn it off, connect the USB cord, leave it alone for an hour or whatever time it takes, charge it till its "full" and then try to use it.

If that doesnt work, then you can probably assume something has gone wrong in the board and if its under warranty you need to make a claim, or sorry to say, you might have to get another one.

If you do end up getting another , and its never a bad idea to have a back up, DO get another box that has a removable rechargeable battery and get a spare to always have charged and ready to go.

Well.... Im sure it can be fixed IF you can find someone that knows enough about electronics and circuit boards and is willing to do it without charging you a LOT. Im sure there are people out there that can do it themselves and its not that hard.

But with the relatively low cost of most VW box mods, its simpler to just go out and get a new one, and a cheaper back up for emergency purposes.

Kanger does have customer service and depending on where and who bought it from and how long ago, it might be worth contacting them. Usual warranties are 30 days ?

But try the turning it off, leaving it while it fully charges and if it doesnt hold a charge or it keeps turning itself off, then we can come to the conclusion that its broke.

OH geez, you could try to do that, but Im sure most here would advise you NOT TO DO THAT. These things can and do go KA BOOM. Even though its a regulated box with electronics to add some safety, you start to do things like that and you are asking for problems.

I dont know what else to tell, you but if it does not hold a charge or stay on after letting it fully charge, then I think your face is worth the loss to get a new one.

We hate to sound "heartless" and non sympathetic, but at this point, for your immediate safety, go out and bum a cigarette ( I know, boos and jeers, throw those tomatoes ) so you can get some nic, or better yet, while waiting for an hour or so, just drip a bit of liquid under your tongue, take a breath and wait.

If you are strapped for money, see if you have a local store, get a cheap kit, order another long term set up from a reputable online store.

Nicotine fits can make one do desperate and illogical actions, PLEASE DO NOT STICK anything in the device to "make it work"

Im a "bra" or dudette and my "mothers instinct" are kicking in and even if I could send you something it would take till Mon or Tues to get there.

Just relax, do what you have to do to get the Nicotine fix. Again, buying a pack will cost you at least 7 to 20 bucks depending where you live. A cheap cig-a-like will cost you the same or like I advised drip a few drops of the liquid you have. Dont drink up the bottle, nor take swigs... Just use logic and think about how many mls you vape during the day from the volume your tank contains and do a few drops every few minutes to satisfy you.

Bro I got nothing else to try. :/

I wouldn't mess with batteries, especially since they may be faulty. You still didn't tell us what brand and model you're using. There are many different batteries on the market,

But if you tried two batteries and they both do the same thing, it's probably your mod.

Do you have a vape shop nearby?
