OK so I have a Vaporesso Veco Solo Kit and my tank is stuck. I've tried rubber gloves, rubber and pliers, lock pliers and anything else you can think of. The tank won't budge. I need to change my coil but how can I get this damn tank off.

Not the best picture but you can see the tank.

UPDATE: After continuous trying with multiple methods, my glass has decided to give up and is now in 4 pieces so I need either a new glass or new vape entirely.

Have you previously been able to take the tank off?

I just watched a video and yes, the tank is removable (in fact is has 510 thread) Are you saying you can't get the tank off the battery? (or can't remove the base of the tank to replace coil?) Have you ever had it off before?

Can't remove it from the battery to change the coil. I have had it off before a few times.

Wrong kit. Veco one and veco sole are different.

Tough one. It looks like it would be hard to get a good grip on it with pliers without getting really close to the glass.

Maybe you could carefully drip a little WD40 or silicone lube into the gap between the tank and mod. Wouldn't normally do that with vape gear but I can't think of anything else. Heat might do it but then you would be heating the battery and the chip which doesn't sound good.

also wearing rubber gloves or using those silicone jar opener circles can help with grip when trying to unstick something.

Another trick I have been known to do is heat the portion that is on the outside with a warm washrag and chill the part that is inserted with an ice cube. Swells one part and shrinks the other and sometimes pops things loose. I use this a LOT on RDAs. warm the topcap and cool the bottom part.

In your case warm the mod side and cool the atty side.
