Help! My 510 Cart Slightly Melted!

Hey guys, Ive been vaping on my Ego all week and everything has been fine, today I took a drag and got a huge burn feeling, tasted like burnt paper as well. Come to find out when I examined the cartridge, the was a slight melt on the edge, nothing major thankfully. Can anyone tell me why this is happening or how to avoid it? I read somewhere that lining up the cart and the atty will help. Anyone agree have pics? Or other suggestions.

happens alot, especially if you hit the PV a lot (lol I know it happens to me all the time) just cut a couple of mm off hte bottom with scissors and youre good to go again.
Linign it up CAN help btw - but Im too lazy and cutting a bit it off removes the issue lol

thanks, I actually checked my carts and some are shorter than others by a tad bit, popped on the smaller one and no problems!

this is common? did he have any effect while using it? did it change the taste or hinder its function at all?

It does neither, they melt but they dont catch fire or give off any gases (I've had it happen a few times, now i just trim my carts before use) - some of the carts are a tiny bit longer than they need to be - slicing off a couple of mm doesnt affect the cart's performance or fit.

Same happened to me, nothing to worry about. Do like the Captain says and trim it (I followed his advice and it worked for me).
Just please be careful trimming so you don't cut yourself.
I used some good quality scissors, sometimes I use my knife, just be sure to use the proper tool fpr the proper job.
