It work fine for the first couple of tanks but now it won't stop leaking. I only use it two days a week when I do my long workouts. Last weekend I filled it up Friday night and when I picked it up Saturday morning half had spilled out onto the table. I used it anyway had maybe 5-6 drops, by Sunday it was nearly empty and I ran out before my 45 mile ride was over. I ended up putting it in my vape box until last night. Last night I took the top cap off and found the chimney loose so I tightened it down thinking that would fix the problem. I filled it up last night, took a few puffs to set the vacuum and had the same experience. What is going on here.

Make sure that you're not missing any o-rings. There is also one in the top cap that seals the cap to the chimney tube. Any break in the tank seal can result in leaking.

Fill from the bottom. Usually a pain in the ...., but the proper method works best to minimize leakage and pressure problems.

Make sure that no wick is caught in the chimney threads. Rewick if necessary to try to change wicking characteristics.

It's almost always an o-ring issue when a Kayfun leaks. If it's leaking through the air flow hole, then check the o-ring on top of the chimney. If you have the type where the oring is inside the top cap, rather then the top of the chimney and it's still there, it could be a little worn away. You would need to replace it. If it's leaking from any part of the tank section, then change the large o-ring nearest to the leak.

You have an AIR LEAK in the tank section. Whether it is an O-Ring or the plastic section is cracked or you simply have not tightened all the section down on one another I don't know. But the only time a Kayfun will leak is if there is an air leak in the tank.

Not sure how the top chimney section can come unscrewed, it is actually tightened when you screw on either the top cap on or the base section.

Could be the O-Ring in the top cap is missing or bad

I fill mine from the top. There is a method to follow when doing so that you can find easily and too lazy this morning to provide a link (sorry). But if it does leak a bit on me, I clean it and tap the air hole with my thumb about a dozen times and seems to fix it. Also make sure everything is tight. Take a non powered pull or two and you should see some bubbles, if so you're good to go.

the problem with mine is that when i got it the chimney was very loose....which indicated to me that the o ring was missing....ok easy fix? NO!!...maybe i am putting in the wrong o ring...who knows...but still leaking out the air hole....going to try rebuilding and taking off the plastic insert and just try all metal...my other kayfun lite works great...from day one....

I think the kayfun is just to delicate for running. I know from past experience that all that jostling is really hard on mods. Since the 510 connector on my gripper broke off I've been using the nemesis clone in 350 mode. A couple weeks back on a 12 mile run the whole thing came unscrewed. I've since bought a new gripper and some cartomizers. I just really wanted to use a rebuildable instead for the cost savings. I'll keep tinkering with it, and I've got an all plastic nano kit coming maybe I can make it work. Right now I think it's just to delicate.
