Anyways, everything has shipped besides the kayfun lite clone.. Then I was stunned I never did ebay before till now, I have no ideal what to do? I have no good tank for my provari... I have 3 pro tank 2's they all leak... I mean leak bad all over I have to clean the connection every 2 seconds.. What do you guys think I should do? This guy has a good rating and all but I don't know ebay like you guys do.. Should I hold off wait till monday see if he ships and keep using the leaking tanks? >.< Please no fasttech recommendations.

If it was a good price and he has good reviews, you could give him the benefit of the doubt - but be warned he won't be able to mail it until Tues., Monday's a holiday.

In the meantime, someone might be able to help you with the leaking PT2s. I had good luck with them while I used them. I *think* too much wick can lead to leaking. What juice are you using? PG/VG %?

Hi

I would give the seller a chance. Having recently had a death in my family, I'm sympathetic to the situation. I've been on eBay since it first started and have had only one bad experience, but it was for non-payment, so I wasn't out anything.

As far as the PT, I don't have a PT2, but I recently fixed a leaking PT2 (or 3, I don't know) for a friend. How long since you changed the head? He is very new, so that was part of the problem. Anyway, I then treated it like my PT1s, which used to leak, but don't now.

Flip it over and take off the base to fill. I use a q-tip to block any liquid from going down the center tube. The opening on his was too narrow to do this, but you could try a rolled up piece of paper towel; actually, it really doesn't matter if you do or not. Fill it about 2/3 full. Put the base back on and flip it right side up. Before you even put it onto the battery, gently inhale through the drip tip. If you hear or feel a little glub, it will leak. Air should flow through it silently, like inhaling though an empty straw. If there's a glub, put a paper towel around the bottom and GENTLY blow out the excess juice. When you don't get anymore out, cold draw again. If it glubs, blow it out again. I actually alternate between blowing and inhaling after I'v completely blocked the air flow from the bottom. When there is no longer any resistance when you inhale, put it on the battery. Fire and take a couple of light draws. If it gurgles, remove and blow out again. Continue vaping for 30 seconds or so, then take the PT off of the battery and check the connection for any liquid. Note: I've made it a habit to wipe off the connection periodically anyway, to remove condensation.

I hope this helps. It works for me.

I use Protanks a lot - and have no leaking trouble...
Are you certain they're "real" Kanger Protanks, and are you certain you have "real" Kanger Protank coils?
If you use the wrong coil in it - that would cause what you're descibing - leaking out the battery connection...
If you've got the right coil in it, make sure it's screwed in "snug" but not SUPER tight - that too could cause a leak.

I actually find I can REMOVE ONE STRAND of the wick (I just pull it out with tweezers) and STILL get no leak - but it allows juice to get to the coil more easily, providing a better vape.

Also might want to check that the little gaskets are there - at each end of the glass, and that the body/glass is screwed finger-tight, too. The whole things works best with the ability to hold a slight vacuum - so if those seals were lost during a cleaning for instance, it's another possible cause for a leak.

Good luck! While it's not going to compare in flavor to a Kayfun working right, a ProTank should NOT be all leaky - and should be a decent backup topper...
