I need a new mod. Ideally a VV mod. I am currently using a first gen Lava tube. The vapor production is quite horrible at this point. I was vaping on it the other day and was getting very frustrated with it. I switched my tank over to my 3.7v silver bullet and I was getting much more vapor than I was at 4.8. I would like to spend no more than $75 dollars. Preferably something with an 18650 battery but that's not 100% necessary, I just happen to have quite a few spare 18650 batteries lying around.

Thanks.

The Vamo will give you variable voltage and variable wattage.
There is a great deal on them right now at Exhalevapors - 40% off with coupon code 40PercentOffECF

VAMO Variable Volt/Watt APV V2

Take 40% off the price there and it comes to $36. You won't get a better deal - vw/vv, ohms check, battery check, can use with an 18350 or an 18650, accurate RMS, clear LED screen, more convenient 3 button system.

Just get a P....

Nah, I'm not going to do that to you. ;)

If you already have a Silver Bullet, have you considered putting a Kick in it? It's probably your cheapest option (outside of a Vamo or Anyvape), even if you can't use an 18650 battery with the kick.

If you really want a separate mod, and are willing to save just a tad more to go slightly over your $75 mark, the Seigeli ZMax is probably your best bet.

Or save a lot more and... ;)

He could get a $25 extension sleeve from Altsmoke and the $40 Kick from Super T Manufacturing, and still use his 18650 batteries.

Kicking a Silver Bullet will give variable wattage - for an extra $65 after buying an extension sleeve and kick.
Seems a bit of an expensive add on when both variable voltage and variable wattage can be had for less on the same device such as a Vamo, or a Zmax for a bit more, which also come with safety features.

Pretty much everything at that price level is about the same. You are going to get ok performance and fair to poor quality. You might look in to a kick for your SB IMO this would be the best performance for your buck.

Gotta disagree with you there. I have two Vamos - performance is above "ok", and they are sturdy. I've used one of them very heavily and it is not poor quality. Not many pvs make Phil Busardo's recommended list on his blog, in fact only 5 pvs out of the many he has reviewed, but he does recommend the Vamo on that list. Twice.
His review is here:

I don't own one (...yet!), but it's the next thing on my purchase list:

Yes, a Vamo.

I, too, have a first generation Lavatube and it ticks me off more than it pleases me. At this point I get a 50% success rate whenever I hit the fire button. Yes, that's one in every two firings. I've settled because I'm poor as blank, but I do know there are better options out there, and I daydream about owning those.

What an excellent deal, too bad I'm not in a position to purchase at this time.

To the OP, for your $75 limit you could buy 2 of these, or just get one and stock up on juice, atty's, or whatever.

$75 dollars? Looks like your limited to another cheap China made mod... Cant you stretch you budget and buy something that will last and has proven reliabilty.... Provari is the best VV mod available... Think about it, you get what you pay for...

I second this. The Provari is worth every penny. Save your money for one, and forget the cheapy Chinese mods.

I LOVE, LOVE my mini Provari. Not wanting to put out such a large amount of money I bought the ego-c, the spinner, etc., etc. and put out more money on these (don't mean to fault these in any way as they helped me stay off the analogs and actually got me to quit smoking!!!!) but I finally broke down and put my order in for the provari and have been using my mini for 4 weeks now and have NEVER had such a wonderful abundance of vapor that puts me in heaven. If only I had bought my mini a long time ago as I have soooo many of the egos just sitting around (they are my backups) but I will definitely order another mini as soon as I can justify the expense (again) to my husband. Provari's customer service (Jennifer) is amazing -- she has answered so many questions for me and she even took the time to try and find me a local (I'm in Israel) distributor for the AW batteries. I'm a former California "girl" living abroad and am proud to be able to buy U.S.A. products. IMHO there is nothing better than the Provari or their customer service so don't let the price put you off as you will save money in the long run and have the most enjoyable vape ever.

I took this off Provape forum..... it speaks for itself.....

I would go with the Vamo. I picked up one about a month ago and I love. Actually, I'm using it at work right now as I type.

"I picked up one about a month ago" is hardly the test of time, and "and I love" will become a valid statement about this time next year.
In reality it's more a matter of what is done should something go wrong with a PV. It would cost more to send a VAOM back to China and have it repaired than they cost new. Almost all of these PV's are a great vape when they are working, but they become a poor investment when there becomes the need to replace them, because there are PV's that will last a lifetime.
