Help! need advice to deal with the neighbors bratts!!

The responsible thing to do would be to document things on video FROM INSIDE YOUR HOME and speak to the police.

What I would do is call a bunch of my friends every day and have them come over so WE can hang out on top of the rocks, listening to old music that disgusts kids while we vape and drink soda.

Of course if you have a job or life that wouldn't work but my profession can afford me the time off if I want it.

The only way to win a turf war is to occupy the turf and not let them use it. They will find a new turf and own it rather than battle for the one the 'old guys' made suck.

We had neighbors once with 12 Russian kids and they were completely out of control. The madder I got at them, the more they would try to piss me off. They feed off that. The parents didn't care nor spoke much English. So, I found a much better way of handling it. I killed them with kindness, was cool to them, and told them if they ...., every Saturday they get ice cream bars from Dairy Queen. Told them they can't bug us all week and to quiet down or no ice cream. That solved my problem quickly for the most part.

take itt from some one who works with the police if thier is ever a case of you need to go to someone elses place to talk about what is happing to your stuff then call the cops. better have a report of damaged car by punk kids and then in the future when things could esclate you have a presdent to blame them again. or at least more compounding proof for a judge. a police report carries more weight then a home video which is not usable unless thier signs every where stating the premises are recored

I would have to disagree with this.

In an openly public setting there is no expectation of privacy and no right to not be video taped.

Audio recording fall into another category but video is perfectly acceptable and entirely legal.

dm in response a persons home and by extension their lawn and propierty is not public untill thier walk way intersets another. trash is not considered trash until it is placed out side a fence in a public area. cops can not go trashing or looking for evidence in trash sitting on your back steps till it is out side a yard weather thiers a fence or not. aparment building not withstanding. the same can be said for recordings on your private property even thou it is your property the public has the right to know thier are on film

Thanks for the suggestions, I probally should have called the cops when they were doing it, but I dedided the right thing to do would be to talk to the parents first, since my property hadn't been damaged yet

I filled up a bag with all the golfballs and rocks and had a nice talk with the mom,

She said the kids aren't to be allowed in her yard, if the kids still act up next step is the cops

I know for one thing being an ex punk my self the worst thing I could do is go have a face to face talk with the little darlings

IF talking to the parents and calling the cops doesn't work. I would find the bully or bullys of the school. Have someone else Pay them some money to hang out at the rock and kick every kids ... that goes there. After awile they will be to scared to go there. Or you will atleast get the satisfaction of watching them get there ... kicked. Sometimes what they need is just a good ... kicking. I know this answer will piss off some but some kids just need a good ... kicking.

I guess I'm more passive agressive. First I would have taked to the parents. Regardless of the out come of that I would start planting poison oak/ivy around the boulders. Plus your boulders might look pretty wrapped in barbed wire or something.
