I ordered the volt kit. I used to smoke metro 100 percent pg, but the cartos half the time were empty so bought volt.
I like the volt, but am allergic to the vg in the cartos ...
I like the thin ones I have, and do not like the idea of messing with tanks.
Is there a compatible carto that is 100 percent vg?
For now I bought some liquid to put in the ones I have, but I am not good at filling them, and flood them, or tear them when I take the top off. .. I just want them prefilled with 100 pg that will match the battery. HELP

Hi amatrine! Welcome to the forum!

The Volt uses KR808D-1 threading, so you'll need 808 cartomizers. This thread has a number of suggestions about where to get hold of them.

You could also Google "808 cartomizers".

You might struggle to find 808s pre-filled with 100% PG, so it would probably be a good idea to get to grips with filling/refilling your own cartos. This video should help:

You could also pick up a drip tip for your cartomizer(s). That way you wouldn't have to worry if you tore up the carto cap anymore and when it came time to refill, it's a lot easier to pull the drip tip than to pry the carto cap off. Just a thought ... however, like jSquared indicated, I think it's a good idea to get more comfortable filling/refilling cartos yourself; you'll save yourself a significant amount of money doing so.

they all sell pre-filled kr808d cartomizers that will fit the volt batteries. I couldn't locate what the PG/VG ratio in the cartos is so your best bet would be to email all of the vendors and ask before you purchase. Although, filling your own cartos with all PG juice would be much cheaper.

I tried my own fluid, and it did not work on these cartos. The juice was for 3.5 ohm, and I jsut read these are 2 or something.
So wasted that money. I emailed a few companies that sell 808 to ask the content but none replied. I like the carts for metro, they are 100 pg, but I hate their batteries, and sometimes ( a lot) you get duds. But they have the best menthol I ever tried. Im getting so frustrated ready to go back to smoking. .. The tank systems seem to complicated for me, worrying about dripping, getting in in my mouth,
buying new ones every three weeks on top of the juice. ...Ugggg

Hmm, not sure I'm following you. Efluid is not classified by ohm ratings. There are differences in what percentages of PG/VG might be in a particular batch of efluid and that can affect how well it works to some extent in different cartos; perhaps that is what you mean? Can you elaborate on what you mean by 'did not work on these cartos' ?

I believe the OP is confused about terminology. Just to clarify:

Cartomizers are only the metal tubes/connector with polyfill and a heating element in them. They come in different ohm ratings, or resistance, such as 2.0 ohm or 2.5 ohm, which determines how "hot" the heating coil will burn.

Juices come in varying ratio's of Pg (propylene glycol) and Vg (vegetable glycerin). Some manufacturers do supply cartomizers that are "pre-filled" with juice.

You can put any e-liquid into any cartomizer and it will "work". Many people prefer more of either Pg or Vg in their juices. I've not heard of an allergy to Vg, but stranger things have happened. 100% Vg can be more difficult to wick as it is often thicker than a mixed ratio.

Sorry, but I don't know of any pre-filled cartomizer vendors to help out other than Smokeless Image. I know there are other vendors that sell them, but matching the connectors on the carto's can be tricky as many use a proprietary connector to keep you from switching brands.

You are worried about getting fluid in your mouth, and buying juice and tanks, but you are considering going back to analogs? I would think cigarettes would be more expensive and less healthy than an inadvertent drip hitting your lips here and there.

Sorry about your allergy. It would seem your going to be very limited if you can find anything that will work at all.
Unfortunately, you may be headed towards an upgrade to a setup so you can choose whatever eliquid you wish.
Wish I could be of some help but keep asking as this community will respond because we all care.
Ask away & you should be able to get some ideas & answers.

Good luck with your adventure.
