I'm sorta new to vaping. I want a mod that hits hard and hits clean. Right now I have a dripper. It works fine and hits hard although it's annoying constantly having to change Cotten and coils. Also it's getting old and worn out. I've been thinking about switching to a tank. Or even a completely new set-up, but that's another post. My question: What's a good tank that I should switch to?
I Vape 18mg/24mg

What is your definition of "constantly" in ref to Wicking and Coiling?
Also, what RDA are you using and what is your Coil Build design and Wire ga?
Like I said I'm new to vaping. My friend bought me this mod and I don't know all the details. I know the RDA is called the Dark Horse and the mod itself is called Blood Splatter v1.5 (I can't remember advanced details) and they're two coils inside the RDA.
Constantly I'm more so referring to the cotten, I use store bought Cotten so that's probably the reason.

A bottom feeder, like a REO.

[it always bothers me when people say they want a mod that hits hard. a dry hit hits the hardest according to my understanding of English.]

All the cotton is the same, depending on which cotton you're using. You could try japanese organic cotton like Shiseido, you can get a Sephora and Sephora at JC Penny for $10, 160 pads.

If you're looking for a set up, I'm very happy with my Sigelei 150 and would recommend it. I use a Mutation Xv4 RDA on it that I also love and would recommend. There are also many RTAs and tanks to pick from. If you're looking for clouds, there are also many high-wattage and sub-ohm tanks with replaceable coils.

As for a dry hit, that's when you vape your wicks dry and hit it forgetting to re-drip or re-fill your tank. Basically just burnt wick. Maybe increase your nic a bit for more TH.

I'm still learning. What do you mean by a "dry hit" exactly?

a dry hit is when your cotton goes dry on your dripper and you continue vaping the burning cotton. If you have a dripper I'd be surprised if you don't know what that tastes like!

Thank you for your help! I always called a dry hit "hitting Cotten". Although dry hit fits better. I'll start saying that. I'll look into your setup that you told me. Is there a specific website I can find them on?

There are several websites that sell them that I'm not familiar with. I got mine from Asmodus.com, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were other reliable retailers that sell the Sigelei 150w for less. I got the Oni edition for $110. The Mutation Xv4 I got at a local B&M, so I'm not sure what the reliable retailers for those are. I got my charger, Xtar VP4 on Amazon, so I made sure to verify it's authenticity. And my batteries, Sony VTV4 I got from Illumn.com.

Assume you have done your Research and are knowledgeable, capable and safe in doing your own builds?
But yes, go to an Organic Cotton.
IF you know how and can build knowledgably and safely, stick with Dual Coil and use a 24-26 gauge A-1 Kanthal. Do a 8/9 Wrap on the 26 or a 9/10 on the 24 trying for around .8-.9 ohm. That should give you a nice robust density Cloud and satisfying Flavor as well. The goal being to be sure and satisfy your initial Nic/Physical Needs as well as Psychological Proclivities to prevent becoming disenchanted & craving a return to the Coffin-Nails.
At first, stick with the 18 Nic to give the Body what it is used to being careful not to hit it too hard and/or too often so as not to get a Nic OD reaction. Then once into it all, reduce from there as you wish and are satisfied with.
24 can blow ya head clean off using a Dripper if you're not careful (spoken from personal experience)

In the end, you should not be re-wicking or re-coiling that often enough to make you frustrated. I have a Fogger v4.1 RTA for Bedside use (dripping is a Beech lying down) and love it. But, I rebuild it about every 3-4 weeks as it requires a 28 ga wire build which gets old quick and it gets gunked up easily as most Tanks/RTAs will do. I don't re-coil or re-wick my RBAs much more often than that. Far from enough to make it a PITA anyways.
I think there is something out of whack with your Build and/or your Material.
