New here and already need some help. I bought 1 liter of unflavored 50vg/50pg 3nic. base that I would like to add my own concentrated flavors to. Problem is I wanted 70vg/30pg and didnt notice I picked up the wrong bottle. Question is how much VG to add to get close to 70vg/30pg. Thanks for the help.

Find an e liquid calculator that you would like, here is one that is a free download:

eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator

(But there are more out there) to calculate your figures. Thing is, by diluting your base with more VG, you will also be diluting your nicotine level... so if you want to keep to three mg then you will also have to add a little more nicotine as well.

(from @HotRod19579's juice Calculator. You can find a link in the first post, to the download here, if you are using a Windows computer (no Mac/Apple/Android/Google support unfortunately))

And @Opinionated is correct; if you want to retain the 3mg/mL nicotine, you would want to buy the 667ml of VG with 3mg/mL nic in it (basically an unflavored 3mg/mL nic base in 100% VG). Otherwise the resulting nic level of the new 1,667mL batch will be 1.8 mg.mL:

I just want to point out, that in the future it's much easier to purchase a high level of nicotine (suspended in vg since your vaping vg heavy juice) such as 100mg/ml (that is 100 mg per ml) or 72mg/ml if you cannot get the 100 where your at, and then purchase plain vg and plain pg all separate. This way, it's easier for you to calculate, and two, your flavoring (which is going to be suspended in pg) will also dilute your nicotine level (flavorings usually makes up anywhere from 5-10% of your e juice) therefore, to be exacting in measuring all of your ingredients to achieve the desired nicotine level and to make it all easier, purchase everything separately.. that's what every one who does DIY does.
