I just got a new version of the e-power 18650 but it didnt come with the right dirrections. I read if you put the batteries in wrong it will fry the switch but that may be on the old version. The company I got it from has yet to give me any info and has no phone number. Its a reputable vender, recomended here but I just cant wait to try my new PV. If some has gotten one of these and can post a pic from the dirrections or knows for sure which way they go that would be great. Also maybe other info I may need to know about the new 18650.

Thanks

Which 18650 version do you have? Can you post a link?

Bc theirs actually 2 18650 versions out now. One is like the regular E-Powers with a removable switch and the other is an eGo- E-Power where the switch is part of the unit and the bottom screws off and the battery is inserted from the bottom

If it has a screw off switch, then the nipple-side would be up and you put negative side in first.

If its an eGo-E-Power with the screw off bottom, Im pretty sure the nipple-side would go in first. Since the bottom cap has the spring. I could be wrong on that one though.

Posting a link would really help

yep, you posted while I was looking at a battery :toast:

It works that way for all cylindrical shaped batteries.
AAA, AA, C, D.
Alkaline, or rechargeable.

Negative side always goes towards the spring.
And all batteries should be marked.
Or the flat side is the negative side.
Positive side usually has a bump.

(I just know there's some freak system out there that breaks these rules.)
