"U" is supposed to be a "V" for voltage. The "P" stands for power or wattage. The "A" is supposed to be an "R" and is the resistance (ohms) of your atomizer. The second "v" is the power in your battery. Full is 4.2v, low is 3.7-3.8v.

If you press the V button and hold it, that takes you to the voltage settings (after the puff counter) and allows you to adjust the voltage from 3.3 to 5.0 volts. When in voltage mode, the device will automatically set the watts appropriate to achieve the amount of volts you set vs the resistance of your atomizer according to ohms law. Likewise, pressing the P button and holding it will take you into wattage mode, which allows you to adjust from 6.0-11.0 watts, and also automatically sets the voltage accordingly. Whether you adjust the wattage or the voltage, the end result is the temperature of your vape. Higher volts/ watts equals warmer vapor, lower equals cooler vapor. How you set it is up to you. Play with it to find the "sweet spot" for you. And as always, if you have any questions, post them!

Pushing both buttons, which I think you are calling "jointly", says your Aerotank's resistance is 2.0 ohms and your battery charge is currently at 4.1 volts. Pushing/holding one button gives you the puff count and the current power setting (9 watts)...I don't know what the 4.5 is, I guess it's the power/voltage setting.

With a 2 ohm coil, I'd start around 4 volts (if you're in voltage mode) and adjust from there, pretty much atty ohms +2. In wattage mode, I would try around 6.5 - 7 watts and adjust from there.

the P goes from 6-11, U goes from 3.3 -5
If I keep it at 8.5-9, what do I change the U to? What would be an average start range?

Whether you change the u or the p, the device adjusts the other according to ohms law.

Thanks all. What about mg strengths? I got a black cherry 24, and a alleged tobacco 18. too much if I was a pack a day regular 100s, or for vapin' should i get some 12mg

24 was WAY to high for me, but I smoked camel menthol lights. I started around 12, and am still hovering between 0 and 12 depending on if I'm dripping or using a tank.

I smoked everything from ultra lights to ultra strong cigs, and I started vaping at 24. Generally, if you have been on analogs for a long time(45 years), I would say start with juice stronger than what you smoked. I have seen too many people give up vaping because the local vape shop recommends the same strength as their analogs. They complain to me that they taste nothing and quit. I reassure them to not give up and buy a stronger amount of vitamin N. I have seen this work, but do not suggest it works for all newbies. Just saying.

I smoked for 35 years or more and started at 24 mg of nic. After a few weeks I wanted more flavor and dropped to 22mg. At just under 2 months of vaping, with 3 weeks of no anologs, I am at 18 mg and things seem fine for me. We are all different so play around and find what works. I'm hoping to drop my nic mg's in the near future.
