Help! No flavor from Kanger T3

So I started vaping just over 2 weeks ago now. I started with a plain non-variable 650 battery with a CE4 clearomizer and loved it right away. After about a few days, the taste was an awful burning taste. Went the 3 more brand new CE4s with no luck in getting rid of the taste. I use 80/20 (PG/VG).
I stepped up to the Kanger T3 on a Vision Spinner VV battery. I get AWESOME vape, but zero flavor. At first there was a little flavor and a little burnt flavor but now the burnt flavor is gone and there has been no increase in flavor. I'm running the 2.4 coil on between 3.3 and 3.8 volts but I've tried other voltages to no avail. I washed it, cleaned it, let it dry and even swapped it out completely... no change. Is anyone else having this problem?

I don't know if this will help but to get a good flavor vape, take a hit and exhale through the nose. This also increases nicotine uptake. You taste through the nose mostly. The particle size of the vapor also passes into the bloodstream more efficiently through the mucus membranes in the sinuses. If you are using high nic juice, be careful not to over do it.

I am currently at 18mg. I do notice a slight flavor but am definitely not getting what I should. I've tried several different juices but still nothing.

T3 = bottom coil, always going to be a cooler vape. I've had no luck with this clearo, although it's brother, the EVOD is a great clearo and in my rotation. Pro-tank is also in this category. In my experience, they seem to mute flavors a little, but you should have been getting at least some flavor.

CE4 clearo and Vivi nova are top coil devices and will give you a warmer (some say hot) vape. I mostly prefer the top coil warmer vapes. I have a couple of CE5's and a vivi nova mini metal that I use on a daily basis.

Just a quick word about your vivi tank, make sure to give it a rinse under hot water every 2-4 tanks, you might also want to think about a quick soak in alcohol and a dry burn to get rid of the crap on the coil. Youtube dry burn, there are a whole load of videos out there on how to do this. The heads will last much longer with a little TLC...

Hi,
Yeah I thought the very same thing, using the same equipment you were. I think part of the problem with the t3's is that they have a very airy draw. So, I tried mine with 2 of the airholes plugged with toothpicks and broke them off. That made it a little bit more satisfying, but still lacking flavor overall.

Of everything I have tried, I think my iclear 16s are still my favorite. I liked the mini nova too, but the one I have will not go back together property after I cleaned it. I will probably pick another one up on my next haul and see if I fare better.

Hmm I have not had these issues as a regular vape vet I use these steps:

1. Shake the juice bottle (as things separate the longer they sit, in general).

2. Drip juice into new clearomizer.

3. Let sit for at least 20 minutes.

4. Do a test burn (hold button down 2 or 3 times about a second each) while inhaling.

5. Vape away.

I see you solved your problem, but following this routine every time I get a new clearomizer and juice has seemed to work for me.

I'd say 1a. rinse your new clearo with hot water thoroughly before use. There are often oils and residues left over from the manufacturing process - and who knows what's on those wicks!

Bouncing around the net I have read that there is a quality control issue currently being resolved dealing with the T3's. I do NOT know if that is true. Giving the amount of complaints people are making I do believe there is an issue that was not present when they first hit the market.

The new vivi nova pyrex tank is proving to be more of a pain than the T3. While I get great vape and most of the time great flavor (far better flavor than the T3), there are a few problems I'm having with it... it leaks onto the battery and where the mouthpiece snaps down into the top of the tank, it leaks there too. The mouthpiece itself gets a lot of condensation in it so you have to take it off and blow it out often or get juice in your mouth. I have no problem with maintaining it and dealing with little quirks here and there but it's only 1 day old and now it is starting with a burnt flavor. Does this sound normal? Should I be cleaning it out every night to avoid the burnt flavor? I've read that with the top wick ones I have to spin it around continuously to keep the wicks nice and saturated and the flavor does improve but only a little. Also, will the leaking on my battery cause it to malfunction? I just got the vision spinner and don't want to ruin in it.
Should I maybe take it back and hope that it was a defective tank?
