hello i'm new to the forums but ive can across it a couple of times while searching. i've been using what appears to be a knock off of the Joye EGO (Called "The EGO" on the box). i didn't know till today when i ordered some new atomizers from Joye 510 | Joye 510-T | Electronic Cigarettes | Joye eGo-T | Smoke Juice | Joye eGo for a real Joye ego and they didnt work!!?!?!?!?!?! lol i'm wondering if there's anything i can do or do i just have to find a site with these knock off atomizers also. i got two of them one will flash for about 3 seconds then go off, the other will light up like its working but no heat and no vap! any help would be great! Thanks in advance

if the button is flashing the battery needs recharging

The battery is fully charged. when its dead it will flash for about 10 seconds. this is alot shorter. also the two atoizers do different things with the same battery.

Welcome, Kinzik! You supplied the link for the atomizer (atty). Do you have the link for your eGo clone too? It may help us figure out what's going on. While all 510-like pieces will fit the threads and electrical contacts, some come with reverse polarity and won't work with each other. It could also be that the atty and batt are not making good contact. Some models have loose center contacts.

Ok this is what i could find about the clone im using 2011 Cheapest disposable e cig ( FT EGO ) products, buy 2011 Cheapest disposable e cig ( FT EGO ) products from alibaba.com i bought it from a friend of a friend that sells them lol looks like i got over charged and ripped off. ive seen something about adapters? i have no idea only had this thing for two months or so.

Dunno. That says it is a disposable ecig. Disposables sometimes are different from the real thing. If something is labeled Disposable then it does not have to fit with anything other than what it comes with.

Flashing can mean a short - bad atty or juice loose between the battery and atomizer shorting it at the threads. If your ecig is really similar to an ego then its threaded end is sealed so juice can't get inside and ruin the battery.

What ohms atomizer did you get and where is a link to the actual atomizer? And -T attys are only for tanks - not cart or drip tip.

And why are you buying possible junk when for under $30 you could have a Riva 510, the most popular Ego clone and not disposable? Liberty-Flights.com, press the 20% off upper left front page then look at Riva 510 - the Lite Bundle.

sorry i posted the wrong one, its not disposable ego e cig products, buy ego e cig products from alibaba.com i bought the regular atomizers for a joye 510 from the website above, the orginal atomizers i have still work but there getting old and wore out so i know the battery is good. im not sure about the ohms?

Ok I pull up your first link and I get everything from starter kits to juice. Which atty from that vender did you buy?

If I had those atties, the next thing I would do is get out an ohm meter. Oh and there is no such thing as reversed polarity in an atomizer, a simple resister could care less which way the current flows.

The bats look like a common ordenary eGo clone to me.

i bought the atty for the joye ego on the site JOYE 510 Atomizer i plan on buying some batteries down the road but money is a little tight right now. whats up with this ohm stuff? whats the difference and how can i tell? its really not anything ive seen or checked for when buying

Well besides checking to see if an atty is low resistance or standard resistance, it's a good idea when there is a problem to see if maybe the atty is open or shorted. Most suppliers have at the very least a DOA warranty.

My mistake. I just remembered...the reverse polarity issue concerned chargers in different kits, don't know about attys.

Kinzik, that looks like an eGo clone. I still think it might be center contacts. Have you tried different batt and atty combinations? Any friend has an eGo type batt you can try the attys on?

Edit: You mentioned your original attys still work with the eGo clone batt. That would point to your new attys. TheVaporPro link did not give ohms. If your new attys don't work with any of yours or your friend's 510/eGo batt, then those attys are faulty.
