What TI chip is it? Does the mod have an adjustment thumb-wheel or small screw (pot) that you turn?
I'm not sure as this mod was given to me through PIF. There is no adjustment thumb-wheel or screw to turn. Just the button to fire and the switch to turn it on/off.
Does the regular atty get warm at all???? Put it on the 5 v mod and hold the button down for 10 seconds. Does it feel warm at all? Do you have a meter?
The regualar atty does absolutely nothing, no firing, no heat, no warmth, nothing. Hubby has a meter and the batts test out perfectly. The batts are both new and I'm using them in a handmade bottom feeder box that just came in today. Those same atties that wouldn't work on the 5v work great on the 3.7v bottom feeder. Batts work great too. No problems with the bottom feeder, just the 5v mod.
