Well, i currently have a ego-c 1000mAh and want to upgrade to a VV/VW mod. I've been researching and researching and new products keep popping up which made me confused on what to pick. I'm going to Vapecan and will probably buy a mod from there. The ones i was interested in were the eVic, provari, and the zmax. These are the top ones i could find but it doesn't mean i'll choose one of them. I wanted some help in finding a good mod for me. Much supported guys and to the Canucks, see you in Vapecan :vapor:

There are tons of good one out there.

The provari is in a price bracket of its own, but if you can afford it. Provari big time.

Take a look at the SID. I dont own one but I like the look of it... Feature rich as well:

The problem with the SID is the menu. I prefer the menu for the eVic since it's more user friendly. I can use it easily and i don't have to keep going back and forth.

Well Budz, I would suggest starting off with a Zmax, Zmax mini or SID or SID Mini. Simply because these are the most user-friendly for newcomers to vw/vv vaping. That and they're virtually hassle free once you get used to the menu and button. Not to mention that they're the best device for the price right now. Getting a provari would be like first getting your drivers license and buying a porsche, know what I mean?

You need to assess your vaping habits first too.

As far as power goes Zmax or SID is the way to go like you said. But the thing that ticks me is the menu system and that i have to go back and forth to adjust my Wattage or Voltage. The only reason i liked the eVic was because of it's menu. It's like an iPhone :p
1000mA?sure?
Yea sure :p Stays with me for the whole day.

So...what i'm picking on now is either the Sigelei Zmax or the eVic. It seems that the eVic is more user friendly which is easier to use, but the Sigelei Zmax is power. They're both at $100 so i'm a bit on both sides. I use a Kanger Protank and a Vivi Nova. Any suggestion for a perfect tank for any of those mods? Thanks guys!

It may not matter right now but keep in mind that the evic has an amp limit of 2amps if I remember correctly which may work now but will be limiting if you later get into RBAs. I went though a few cheaper mods, some were replaced because they were dead way too fast and others the seller didn't want to help out. I ended up getting a provari from the discount section on provapes site. I still can't find the defect but any savings was good for me since they cost so much. I like the piece of mind of the yr warranty and that fact that they will repair it if it goes out, also buying from america was factor too. I do wish it had a higher amp limit (3.5amp or 15watts) but it does work very very well.

One of the devices that died and was replaced was the Itaste MVP. They one I have now is not giving my any trouble and love the form factor. It's my out and about device and I use it with clearo/carto tanks so the amp limit is not an issue.

For the money the Vamo, or for a little more the Sigelei Zmax are great buys, but if/when they die they are gone. If you can get a provari you won't be disappointed...but the cost does sting a little.

The Sigelei V5 stainless is probably the best APV < $100 on the market, imho. There are no issues with the Sigelei, which telescopes, looks fantastic in stainless steel and is really a combination of the Vamo, the MPV and SVD in one very well executed APV. The eVic is nice in many ways, but has a dozen known issues, and while a "tech marvel" doesn't have the quality or the durability. In fact, the eVic is the most delicate APV on the market until you get to the Ego V5. I have three eVic's which have broken four times. I had to learn to solder to fix them, because there is no support for them if you ever drop them or knock them over. They just come apart, at least mine did. Yeah, they're great until that happens. I also have the Sigelei mini, the V2 and the V3. The V3 is my favorite APV under $100 and has the best build quality as well. I have added a stainless steel telescoping tube to my eVic, which gives it a better build quality and durability, but that was an additional $75, or so, for the Kir Fanis tube. The Sigelei is $60, my evic cost more than $150. Really no true comparison, dollar for dollar. My very subjective two cents.

Well, new opinions are good. So i've scratched off the eVic for all these known problems. The Provari is at $140 right now and i'm going to Vapecan which might sell it for cheaper. Not sure...

I have a budget of $100 exactly for buying a VW/VV.

Sigelei seems to be the best, but i can't find a supplier for the v5. Anyone can help on this.

It'll be a showdown between the Provari and Sigelei. If i can reach out for that $40 then i'll get the Provari, but that price :p

So I added in the Vamo as a sub-choice. Any other reviews on that?
