Hi all, I got my ecig 2 days ago from electronicsmokingshop I was absolutely thrilled with it, not had a real cig since it arrived. This has been short lived as it is now not working. The usb battery charger says it is charged (the green light stays on and the ecig is lighting up red) but nothing else is happening, have tried several new cartridges, the atomiser is not getting warm, it was before. I am guessing that the atomiser is dead??
Have emailed the company and am hoping that they will sort the problem, but if not, can someone please recommend a new ecig please. I am in Spain, but buying from UK company as I cannot find anywhere here that sells them. Would appreciate any advice. I am gutted!!! :(Thanks.

Have you tried cleaning the threads of both the battery and the atomizer? It could also be a simple case of not making contact, especially if you have had some liquid on your hands when handling for instance. Take a tissue, and rub both threads clean. Then screw them together again; and while inhaling on it, see if screwing the parts slightly more OR slightly less will help to get the needed contact.
Another possible cause is that you flooded your atomizer. Put a tissue against the mesh bridge, and blow hard from the battery-side hole of the atomiser (take battery away first). If your tissue gets wet or you hear gurgling, it will probably be flooding that is the cause... in that case keep blowing, until your tissue stays (almost) dry. Then put one or two drops of liquid onto the mesh and start smoking (as last alternative you can also try to wash the atomiser under a warm tap... again blow it dry like above afterwards, now put on 3 or 4 drops, try smoking again - you might have to go on for about ten minutes before it starts working after washing).
Good luck, and if it's broken I hope you get a new one soon.

I also live in Spain and know the problems over here with e cigs. I am waiting for my starter pack to be sent over from the UK as we speak but after reading thru' this forum, I realised I will be needing this and that extra to the starter pack. I ordered loads of high nic carts which, now I believe, are going to be too strong for me so I will need to cut them. I was amazed to find my local farmacia selling e cigs but they are very expensive. They nearly fell over when I asked for veg glycerol and replied, when asked, that I needed it for smoking..haha.
I cant find pg anywhere in Spain and although I have found it reasonably priced on eBay, it would cost a fortune shipping it over here. I need other things too that I can't buy from 1 place so the shipping cost goes up and up and then it starts to be an expensive game. Any, can't wait to try them.
How are you getting on with them? Have you sorted your problem out?

Hola
Como estas?? I am quite new to the forum but you asked about e-cigs in Spain. I lived in Tarifa for a few years in the south and now spend most of my time a bit further east. Total Cigarettes have their head quarters in Gibraltar and have been a blessing for me. I am pretty sure they have free shipping in Spain as well as I have noticed a few adverts recently in The Sur in English, promoting the TC Classic which is a DSE901 in Spain. Contact Mark, he has been great with my refills and stuff. I have the TC Pro and TC Topflight now.

Buena Suerte!!

Hola,
Wow, I can't believe the difficulties in Spain!! Total Electronic Cigarettes Ltd. only sell VG liquids in their carts and e-juice. I mentioned before they are based in Gibraltar and I have heard they have free shipping in Spain but not 100% sure. I am in and out of Gibraltar quite a bit but Mark has always sorted me out and the prices are good.

Good luck. : ) :toast:

Where are you located in Spain?

Sound like the same problem I had a quick washing the atty under warm water and a quick blow dry might do the trick.

Here's the check list I got from company.(check out #5)

1. Have you replace the blank cartridge the unit is shipped with and installed a new cartridge?
2. Please let us know if both batteries been fully charged?
3. Please let us know if blue LED's light when the unit is in use?
4. Can you please check the unit for obstruction in the atomizer? Feel free to rotate the new cartridge after it is placed on the atomizer, this can ensure it is getting good contact and does not have an obstruction. Like any e-cig manufacturer, we do not recommend taking it off until it is fully used since the “wick” that holds the solution comes with contact of the atomizer and can dislodge if removed to early. So be sure to remove it carefully so you do not ruin the cartridge when removing it from the atomizer.
5. If this still has not resolved it, run your atomizer under warm water and give it a brisk blow to dislodge any obstruction and let air dry completely. Somtimes during catridge changes, you can unintenionally get some blockage in the atomizer. This typically solves most performance issues.
6. Sometimes, if the cartridge is pressed in too hard, it will not make contact with the solution inside the cartridge. You can try taking a paper clip and sliding it inside the inhalation hole to move the solution closer to the atomizer.
7. Please make sure there is no obstruction on the battery connection that might cause it to not have full contact.
8. Lightly tap the LED end of the battery on a desk to dislodge anything that could be obstructing it the connection.
