I must say that thanks to this forum I have found different ways to pack the cart to vape, but no matter what method I use, I get gurgles and have to wash e-juice from my lip.

I understand about wiping the top off with a paper towel when there is a "pool", but after doing that, I will still get that gurgle.

Also my confusion also comes in part from what I call a "dry atomizer". When the vapor becomes low and I taste a bitter taste in my mouth I assume the atomizer is dry and will drop a few drops of juice on it, but every single time I put the e-cig back in my mouth, it gurgles and e-juice comes out the mouthpiece.

A good example is I watched the ADM video and fitted the (ink pen) spring sideways in the cart, pushed it down a little, put drops of e-juice to up under the spring (about 11), fitted a a small piece of fluval and put it on top of the cart, and even though in the video he put a little drop on the top of the filler, I did not to make sure it would not leak. I then put everything together, took a puff and the juice is once again on the mouthpiece.

There is that annoying gurgle no matter what method I use.

What could I be doing wrong? Thank you.

you are flooding the atty make sure when you drip only a couple of drops and try to hit the bridge (the center part with the batting) for gurggle just hit it a few times and it will go away ....thats asuming you didn't empty an entire bottle onto the atty...hehe

EDIT: by hit it I mean take a few drags not bang it on the table or anything hehe

I'm not that familiar with the 510. But in my 401, if I pull juice once, it gets inside the tip, around the cart, and until I clean that reservoir out I will keep getting juice. Don't know if they work that way too, and maybe it's the 'duh' thing you already tried but worth a shout out :) . I've been having great success with the fluval with my m401. I mean great. Cutting the plug took a couple tries, and I got plenty of juice in my mouth. But after getting the tightness right, I get great hits till the thing is bone dry. Don't give up! :)

I agree. With the 510 the juice can collect in the mouthpiece and will give you trouble for a bit after it initially happens. If I pull the cart out and blow from the side that goes into the atty, making sure you're blowing through the sidevent air slits, you can blow the juice out of the tip. Seems to clear it up for me. Until I flood it again. heh
