Help Please!

I bought A multimeter, Rebuilt my coil for evod bcc .... With 0.20 A1 kanthal and 2.5mm silica wick.... But with just 3 turns on coil it measure 8 ohms!!!! only wanted to do a 2 ohm max.... what the heck am I doing wrong? I'm totally puzzled! Any help appreciated....

Try again and see if its thats high

now using 1mm silica wick, got 1.6 - 1.8 ohms... now gonna test with juice....

got really rank yukky taste from my banana juice.... not sure what I doing wrong still....
