Help Please!

Hi All,

My brother bought me a an iTaste MVP for Christmas which I found easy to use but a bit big to carry around, therefore I've been using it at home but still smoking at work and when out etc. I've recently bought a svoemesto SM V3 Semovar and a couple of Kranger protank 2s from cloud 9 vaping (I would post in their forum but I have to post 5 times in here first). Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to get them to work together. I've assembled them and filled it up, I can hear it firing when I press the button but I can't suck through the pro-tank as no air passes through.

Do I have to purchase the following adaptor? Cloud 9 says it's to "improve the look" only: SvoeMesto SM V3 18mm Cap - Semi Polished - Cloud 9 Vaping

Has anyone else used this combo who could offer some advise?

Lack of airflow.. unscrew it a bit if that works.. if not.. they sell airflow controller you can add between the tank and PV.

Or get am aero tank by kanger.

Are you getting a reading with 6 presses "rA" I think - should give you atomizer resistance?

Haha this ^^ exactly. If you are getting an atomizer reading and you hear it firing its airflow.

Your Protank should have slots in the bottom just like the adapter has slots cut in the top. Those are there to allow air to flow into the tank when you vape. Yes, you probably need that adapter or an adapter that raises the Protank off the top of the mod to allow airflow.

Yep, I get a resistance reading (2.3 on a 2.2 head).

Glad you got it sorted, a word of vaper advice as long as the airflow regulator is sealed be wary of the ProTanks leaking they always at some point dumped juice, i tried a few and IMHO I would rather use a CE4 cleo way way less hassle and reliable.

It would hurt to see your Semo get destroyed because of another Kangertech product.

I don't want to sound preachy here do yourself a favour in the name of vapedom and get yourself something more suited to the Semo, you have spent good money on a very very nice APV with a sweet output make it shine and get a proper tank the return will be so rewarding you will be one happy vaper

Thanks, I wanted to get the Kayfun v3.1 but it's discontinued, using the protank until the v4 becomes available.
