For the sake argument yes, you're also running the risk of pushing the current through you. Also I use nothing but regs, never used a mech not sure how the switches are on those- ie- if there is a delay or not. But the action of bridging the coil with something metal would essentially show it as a short.

Wasn't trying to be a worry wart, wasn't panicking was just trying to look out bro
So im building a simple single coil at 1.0 ohms 9 wrap with 24 guage kenthal on my igow and useing 100 percent organic cotton on my sential clone. BUT EVERY juice I TRY TASTE HORRIBLE. I could be that the taste is mute or not even close to whats it supposed to taste or It just taste burnt over all. I am so confused I have no idea what to do. I even cleaned every individual part and rebuilt about 6 times. And new cotton everytime. And the same results. I know its me because I tried the same flavors on my friend mod and they have amazing taste. Im just so confused. It has got to the point I just want to give up all together someone please help
Use a bigger inside diameter tool to wrap your coil.
