Help Please.

I mixed up a 20 ml batch of e juice that doesn't seem to be combining.

The mix is cloudy except for the very top which is clear.

I shook it up after mixing it and have shaken it several times and every time it looks as if it is separating every time is this normal.

here is what I mixed.


Nic used VG based 36mg ---------- Target strength = 10mg

Mix --------------------------------------------- = 50/50

Batch size -------------------------------------- = 20ml

Flavor used---- Cinnamon Red Hot (TFA)----------- = 20 %


Amounts used:

Nic = 5.56 ml --- drops 111

PG = 6 ml ------ drops 120

VG = 4.444 ml -- drops 89

Flavor = 4 ml --- drops 80

made on 10-14-2015 its been 9 days.



I am new to making my own e juice.

Cloudy is common with some strong cinnamon flavors. There's a chemical in some cinnamon flavors that will cause separation and cloudiness.

I do some searching and found 10% of that flavor is (* suggested). If the separation occurs with other flavor as well, you have something else inside your PG/VG/ or nicotine, that shouldn't be there. (* user taste may vary, right?!)

I did go and look at the description of this flavor and it does say 5%, going to have to dilute it some.
I look at the other flavors I mixed and they looked clear with no separation.

I've been mixing TFA's Cinnamon Red Hot at 14% & found it needs to steep for a month.
It's my favorite juice, & I've noticed no separation.
