I don't want this to sound like I'm a jerk but since nobody else has ideas, I'll try to help. Make sure you're trying to take the tank apart at the right connection. I know that sounds dumb but I've broken a tank by twisting the wrong area. You could try using a piece of rubber like a jar opening thingy so that you can grip it better. Last idea is take it apart as much as possible and drain the juice so you can place it a bowl of hot water. Not super hot where the glass will break, just hot enough for you to work with it and see it loosens at all. If all else fails, using a lubricating solution like WD-40 could get it open. 2 problems with this idea. You have to wash the tank afterwards very very very well and you may have to replace the orings.
