I'm currently using an iStick 100w with the uwell crown on a .25 @ 44.4watts with suicide bunny mothers milk a high vg. After I get halfway thru the tank I start getting some serious spitting. I've been looking everywhere for info. The only thing I came up with was to unscrew the top piece. When I do so and break the seal a bunch of bubbles come up. So it seems that my coil isn't wicking properly. Has anybody else had this or a similar issue and if anybody has found a fix besides unscrewing please let me know. I would hate to have to do this every few puffs. Would going to a .5 ohm help at all. Other than that the Crown is an amazing tank. If only the holes on the coil were a little bigger to allow for a better wick. Thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

I find my Crowns spit when I fully fill them. More so when I vape at 30-40w vs. 70w.

Fill the tank 75% and vape at higher temps and you should be fine.

I've had mine for just over 48 hours. I'm still figuring out the ins and outs of the thing too. I have noticed that when I attempt to unscrew the top cap, sometimes the top part of the tank unscrewed instead. Have you found a way around that other than holding that part?

My two haven't done that. Maybe screw the top part on tighter to see if that helps.

Another thing I noticed is that it leaks like a sieve if it am using the RBA and try to fill via the topfill.

I am bottom filling now always. It is a P.I.T.A. but doesn't leak at all when I fill this way.

Great tank but a bit finicky for sure.

I just got two crown tanks and I haven't had any spitting. Try using a higher wattage. I'm rocking the .25 ohm coils at 75watts. I haven't tried the .5 ohm coils yet.
There is a world of difference with the .25 coil below and above 60w...anything below and the coil doesn't shine - the taste above 60 approaching 90 is awesome and I am not surprised to hear that it is spitting below 60. Personally I like it in the mid to low 70 range and have had no issues with spitting. One other thing is that you need to take your time in juicing the coil initially as well as breaking it in; there are a number of excellent videos on youtube re... - Cheers

Thanks for the info. I thought the higher watts I used the more it spit. I'm currently using a high nic with a big throat hit so I had it lower. I'm gonna go out and go back to NY 3mg throw in a new coil prime her up and try hitting 70watts. I just don't know what you mean by breaking the coil in, I'll have to look into that. Either way I'm going to pick up another Uwell & Arctic V8 I found them for 18.99 each.

I run mike with teh .25 coil at 80-100 watts. never had any spitting from it. As to the top coming off when you open it to top fill, I just make sure the top of the tank is on good and tight, and then when I replace the Drip tip assembly onto it after filling I tighten until I can feel the orings making contact and then just a smidge more to get a good seal. dont crank it to tight or you will have the issue.

Ya, I am at 3 always ...that is enough considering I vape pretty much all day long.

I haven't experienced that, I love these top fill tho. What ratio PG/VG are you using? It happens with the high VG, IDK maybe it's a problem with wicking.
Good point.

Personally, almost all of my juices are 80-100% VG. High VG definately plays a factor.

@BreSha6869 I'm guessing you use a RDA. I'm looking to purchase one but don't know where to start. Do you have any recommendations for a newbie like me
Dude, I have been vaping for for just over a month, so don't take my opinion as anything other than maybe "advanced newbie".:D

I bought the RBA for the Crown for $10-ish and just wicked the preinstalled coil the first time. Done. Did the same with the Kanger RBA. Lots of YouTube videos out there.

For moving forward, I bought some Clapton wire, some 26g kanthal, cotton bacon and a coil tester/ohm meter. Building your own is super easy as long as you research wha you are doing.

I am having lots of fun anyways.:)

My first real RBA is a Steam Crave Aromamizer and I haven't spent much time playing with that one yet.

Well thanks anyway. There's a few shops I'd every town by me so I'll just head to one of them it just kills me how expensive they are. I almost bought the iStick 100w for $95 at one then I looked it up and got one for 27.99. My crown cost me 45 n I just found them for 18.99. So TBH I don't really trust these places but atleast I can see what they recommend.

I just got Redrum "the haunting" and my crown isn't spitting it's literally pouring juice out now. I put a tissue is the drip tip to see how bad and within five min the tissue us completely soaked and brown with juice and after 15ml it seems like my coil is done. It's a Graham cracker juice with brown sugar and vanilla. I've heard the brown sugar can destroy coils. The juice burns incredibly quick I went thru 15ml in a few hours. I'm hoping it's the juice and not my tank malfunctioning. Does anybody have any experience with this IDK what to do. My buddy is going to give me an RDA tomorrow so I'll see how the juice acts in that.
