thanx i don't have a Manuel battery have a automatic so can you do it with that. was thinking is it because of heavy use are there better pv;s i could get

I don't have a manual battery either yet; having read through that thread I mentioned, I saw others with only auto batts saying it was doable, just that you end up 'using up' a whole charge and have to recharge after you use that batt to dry the atty.. So, it is doable with automatic, just a little more of a pain (takes longer and you have to fully charge the batt afterwards).

Hope this helps!

Just re-read what I wrote again and wanted to edit one thing..

Obviously manual/auto batts are still both batts and both would need charging after the drying procedure... Just that with the auto it takes longer because of the auto-cutoff in most auto batts, whereas with manual you can keep it 'on' longer per burning cycle.

Second that, I have burned 12 atty`s in 2 months. I have tried every trick I have read here and nothing helps, most I have had an atty is a week, anywhere from 4 to 6 days I burn one. I have tried few different suppliers and come to realize its not the suppliers its just 510 attys that suck, I don't use any high voltage mods either. I often read people who go up to 6 weeks with same atty and say how in the hell do they do it ;) anyway good luck to you...
Buy the atomizers from Janty, and you get a worthwhile warranty with no questions asked. Buy the atomizers elsewhere, and you get no useful warranty and equipment that is much more costly in the end.

Sorry, as far as the 'heavy use' thing, from what I've read here there are many who vape heavily and do not need to clean that often, the determining factor that seems to gunk up attys appears to be the brand/batch of Juice you're vaping (and in some threads i've seen, the 'darkness' or coloring in the juice is also suspected of playing a part)...

I'm too new to have enough experience to recommend much, but am having good luck so far with the juice from myPVShop.com and my 4072, for what it's worth.

thanx you how do you do it

I believe you just follow the steps in that 1st post in the thread, except instead of pressing the manual button and drawing (but not inhaling!), you just draw until the auto batt shuts off, wait until it lets you draw again, and repeat... The batt's auto shutoff should hopefully protect you from burning out (the bad way).

Good luck!

I am having similar problems. i got 2 attys with my 510 kit and ordered 3 extras one of my originals died just the other day (or i think its dead has minimal vapor production and has a sucking through a straw like draw) and one of the extras died the first day i used it. But one of the attys i ordered has a perfect analog type draw on manual or auto batteries when it dies a may be in trouble though because all of my extras i ordered have a straw like draw but have good vapor production and i like a harder draw :(

If juice and all else are equal, not sure what would explain different draw from individual attys of the same model from the same vendor.

Different mfg batch or source?
Tiny variations in manufacturing that are somehow affecting it?

Maybe someone with more experience has other ideas...
