My husband has been vaping for 6 months but his ecigs are outdated and he is reverting back to the disgusting 'stinkies' because his batteries are always flat, or the glass breaks or the coils break etc.I am doing some research for him, but feel overwhelmed at all the choice. Basically he wants the tight draw of a cigarette with maximum cloud. Any suggestions please?

Thanks he has been using Ego-T. He started with them about 2 years ago, but didn't persist until about 6 months ago when he had a health scare. Since then he has only been vaping and feels a thousand times better, but as I mentioned the devices have been letting him down. They also don't produce enough cloud.

There are definitely better devices available now. I will leave specific recommendations to others, since I am not up to date with what is currently on the market. When I upgraded from an eGo in 2012 there weren't many choices.

As far as clouds go though, the pg/vg ratio can have quite a noticeable difference. Vg (vegetable glycerin) is the ingredient that makes most of the visible vapor. The downside of a high ratio of vg is poor wicking, but with some experimentation you can make it work. I usually vape 70% pg and 30% vg, with nicotine, which keeps me off of cigarettes and makes more clouds than smoking ever did. However, if I feel like "playing" I have a tank of 90% vg/zero nicotine at hand. As an ex-smoker the clouds that combo makes is crazy.;) Good luck to you both.

Hi and Welcome- maybe take him to a vape shop? That way he can see and feel the many devices on the market.
I just got the Joyetech Penguin and my still dual using hubby stole that from me! I am glad that he likes that device, and really hope he gives up cigarettes this time once and for all!

Hi Candelabrat. Welcome to the ECF.

If your Husband went with an e-Cigarette that used Replaceable 18650 Batteries, he could have 2 or 3 Batteries and when the Battery in his e-Cigarette is drained, he can just pop in a Fresh One. Much like you do with a Flashlight.

Most Modern Atomizers come with some form of Air Flow Control. So you can the Atomizer for a Tight Draw. Or Open it up for an Airy Draw.

Getting Clouds isn't Hard. Just use an e-Liquid that has Higher VG than PG. Like maybe 20% PG to 80% VG. Or something Similar.

Welcome and glad you joined. Could have you husband read through replies, it's very hard for someone other than a vaper to choose a device. If all else fails, could get him an all in one system.
