hi all, im new to this forum.. i have been smoking for quite some time and i really want to quit smoking with the help ''vaping''. as im really really new to this forum, i hope that you guys are able to help me out here with some newbie questions im going to ask..

1. Will i be able to quit smoking and nicotine intake if i get a e-cig with those 0mg nicotine cartridges/analogues or what you call them..
2. What is an analogue?
3. What brand of e-cig is of a reasonable price and is easy to carry around?
4. Is the brand Blu good? i have seen the review, some says its bad, some says its good. It looks good to me since it has a casing and its size is not that long as compared to others, so i thought it may be easy to carry around. Any comments on this?

Really hope that you guys can help me out.. thanks:oops:

1. You may or may not be able to quit, everyone is different, but I personally would NOT start with 0 nic.

2. An analog is just a plain old regular cigarette.

3. I would stay away from the stuff you can buy in most stores. I gave gotten items from totally-wicked and volcano and have been very happy with the products and the service.

I started with a Titan 510 kit. , they are nice and small...easy to carry, etc. But you'll end up filling lots of carts and needing to keep a few batteries with you al the time. I ended up getting the tornado-t which is a tank system. It's a little bigger than the 510, but the batteries last for days on a charge and I have a hard time getting through a full tank in a day.

I guess that answers 4 as well. Good luck and happy vaping. I'm pretty new to this, but I have been analog free for 2 weeks now and from the start I have not missed my old cigarettes (about 1 pack/day for close to 20 years). I'm feeling much better...no more coughing and best of all no more stinky hand, clothes, car, hair, etc :)

If the e-cigs you can buy from 7-11 can get your feet wet, so to speak, then by all means try it out. To me that's what they're really meant for. How do I know that? Coz that's how I started. Instead of grabbing cigs, I got the trial which comes with 2 cartomizers with 18mg nic. They're not cheap though, at $20. If it works, then great, you know there are tons of other better options out there. If it doesn't work, you're out $20. But it did work for me, of course, ymmv.

Now I vape on 510 and buy different flavors of juice. It's been an interesting and fun journey.

And btw, welcome to ECF!!!

Also: It looks like your in Singapore, you might want to go to the Singapore specific section of the forums, as I understand e-cigs are banned there (but I may be wrong) so even getting one may be a challenge.

yes its banned at Singapore.. also, i cant post a thread at the specific forum becos im new here:(

Everyone has different opinions on different brands of ecigs it really boils down to what will work for you. Is that the only one that you are able to get? Are replacement parts readily available? These are things to consider. I would not start with a Blu but would start with somewhere like Vapor4Life (and did) but that is for me personally.

This would be a good place to look for reviews of the different brands.
