I got in on that deal of getting six 510 kits for $114 (the $19.00 each deal...great deal). When I went to charge the batteries I noticed that the chargers included in the kits are EXACTLY (numbers and all on both pieces) like my eGo chargers. They are NOT like the other 510 chargers that I have. I've always heard that an eGo charger will fry a 510 so I'm charging the new 510 batts on one of my older 510 chargers until I hear something.

Let me reiterate, they are identical to my eGo chargers including all the numbers on the piece that goes into the wall and the piece that screws onto the battery. HELP.

Thanks,
Jan

ooooooooooooooooh, yes -- good catch Jan

definitely check this out with CS before using them on your 510 regular batteries

I also read the same warnings .

Di, thanks for answering.....

I emailed them a little while ago....not sure what the time difference is, but haven't heard back yet. I'll just use the 510 charger I have until I hear something from them. Would hate to fry the batts in all 6 kits at once! lol.

Yes both Riva and 510 charger i got looks identical. Only the USB charger output for 510 is 150mA while the Riva charger output is 420mA. Do check this to make sure whether it is the Riva or 510 charger.

this is very good - thanks shadowin

do check those numbers -- ,lol

Can a multi meter be used to check the difference? Is there a way to hook a multi meter up to a usb?

I dunno
I have no multimeter --
