Sorry I am running late for work (as always) or I would look this up. What are the systems of being PG sensative? My tounge started to hurt about 5 days ago. I've been vaping for a month analog free 2 weeks doing 50/50 vg/pg. I vape Red Hots the most.

Is this just a coincidence? Of course I just orded a ton of e-juices. UGH

Anyone who can help thanks

I do have a PG allergy. And "tongue hurts" wasn't a reaction I had. What happened to me was chronic nausea and occasional itchiness. Which turned into vomiting, difficulty breathing and severe allergen itchiness on my hands and arms. That all happened within the first four days of vaping PG.

Red Hots has very strong flavor components. If that's about all you have been vaping it may be time to switch it up - even go to an unflavored liquid. You don't want to be getting your taste buds back and burning them out at the same time.

And if you have any doubts or concerns do see an MD. The damage/risk we did while smoking doesn't disappear the day we started vaping.

I have a red hot type flavor. It isn't my main. It isn't because it caused a lot of irritation through my entire respiratory tract.

I like the flavor, but have to limit how much I use it.

I like flavor intensity somewhere between a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick and a Sam Kinison scream. If I'm not doing 300mph with my hair on fire I get bored. It's difficult for me to find any flavor that doesn't taste like a toothpick after 20 minutes of vaping.

If you like candy flavors, try this. It's a wintergreen with hot and cool notes.

Wintergreen E-Liquid - Penny 's Store

I add a little menthol and cool flavor concentrates too this, but It's quite good on it's own. This is my main all day vape.

OK this isn't a tongue question but it is a mouth question LOL......what other thing besides water/juices would you suggest for helping with dry mouth. I'm staying plenty hydrated but I still get a cotton mouth constantly. Any other suggestions of things I could use?

Thx, Stormie[/QUOTE

What is the mix of pg/vg?
pg will dry you out more, I think.
also the 'hot' vape I have seen you mention is also drying you out....
I also drink a lot of ice tea along with water. Liquid is always within reach. You could also trying drinking right before you take a pull, and right after..... since the drying out is what is making the vapor.

:)

Spicyed, it's actually my tongue just the front of it that feels very raw doesn't look weird or anything. I read that link someone sent me and after reading that I'm really guessing I'm over doing the Cinnamon!! Hopefully I can switch out soon, bummer though cause I'm hooked on the flavor!! Guess I'll have to keep that flavor as a "special treat" of course I just ordered a BIG bottle of Red Hots and a small bottle of Cinnamon Hearts. LOL

I've heard this recommended a lot for dry mouth: Dry Mouth Symptoms Relief - Biotene

I've never tried it, but I did see some at our local grocery store. It was expensive and I don't have a dry mouth, so I didn't buy it to try.
