Hi I've been vaping for about 2 months now and my teeth are becoming wicked sensative and hurt when I inhale. Is anyone else experiencing this side effect. I'm vaping a 4mg heavy duty menthol in pure VG.

Thanks for the help,

Chris
Chris, I think VG maybe a natural sweetener, not sure. So anyway try Sensodyne toothpast it works. My teeth were sensitive to hot/cold and sweet stuff. I started using Sensodyne and no more problems. Thats what its make for. Hope this helps.

I made a special trip to my dentist for this exact reason. My bottom front teeth became soooo sensitive and others just hurt. He said that my gums were getting more blood since I stopped smoking, therefore more feeling to them. Makes sense. The dentist gave me some prescription mouthwash to use before bed, and the sensitivity is gone. After the bottle of mouthwash is empty, I will see what happens.

I've been vaping for a little over a year now..recently I noticed small brown spots on my front teeth....not good! Maybe the e juice I'm using is eating the enamel off my teeth...I'm not letting the vapor hit my teeth any more...hope that helps. In any case smoking is worse and that is the only other option I feel I have.....not going back to that!

That's very interesting. Let us know what happens when you're done the mouth wash stuff.

My gums have been bleeding more since I started vaping this week. It's nice to hear that some of you have been to dentists and none of the dentists have said you're getting .... mouth or anything scary. Sensodine is good stuff, I have a couple untreated cavities and an broken tooth I've never gotten taken care of, but it's rare that they hurt.

Not stupid at all. Some say Pg some say Vg. Everyones different I guess. That's what confusing.

OK.. So it depends on personal perception.. Why I ask is because now I'm purchasing my first e-cig and I wonder what fluid is better to buy in order not to get that "sensitive disease", as my teeth aren't sensitive now and I don't want them to become like that in future because of smoking the e-cig..

Hahaha!! I wouldn't call it a disease. They are just more sensitive. Bought some sensodyne today to see if this helps.

Ya.. I know that.. That's why I actually quoted the phrase =)
Nevertheless, I wouldn't like to have that side affect when vapouring.. And I don't think that using sensodyne or any other similar toothpaste is worth of it

I would think that if one type of e-juice bothered you it would just go away when you stopped using it. I have vaped for 6 months now and never had a problem it maybe that some people have sensitive teeth before they vaped. I read the ECF to much, and have not heard about this before. So in my opinion e-juice itself will not CAUSE this problem. I had sensitive teeth way before I ever use E-cigs but after awhile the sensodyne worked and I don't use it anymore, haven't for a year or more. The e-juice doesn't bother my teeth now at all. Hope this helps.

Many years ago my Dad had this issue when he quit smoking. Maybe you have tar built up on your teeth/gums from smoking and now that you're no longer smoking it's an irritant to you? I seem to recall that he was told that, but I'm not 100% certain it's true. You could ask your dentist. Maybe you need a good cleaning.
