Help Raising Centre Pin

Hey guys, I just got the anyvape anymod in the mail. Having some trouble, my tank (Aspire Mini Vivi Nova) when on the device doesn't seem to be working properly and it's not a problem with the tank itself. When I fire it up I don't here any crackling or hissing of the juice for a good 4 or 5 seconds. Also on 18 watts it doesn't give me anywhere close to the vapor my MVP 2 gives me on 11 watts using the same tank. I'm thinking it's not making good contact with the centre pin of the anymod. Any thoughts? Greatly appreciated

Have you recently checked the coil? Is it all gunked up?

It's not the tank or the coil. Both are brand new, 2 days old. Works perfect on my MVP 2.

Only thing I can think of to raise the center pin is to use a small regular scredriver and try prying it up softly. But be very careful you don't want to strip the threads.
