Hello I just got my brand new anyvape anymod in the mail. At first it was working great but now has stopped. On high wattage there simply isn't the vapor production and vapor is a cool temperature (I'm talking 18 watts). It's not my tank or coil as they are brand new and work perfect on my other devices. Neither is it the battery as I went out and bought a brand new 3100 mah 18650 purple efest from my reputable local vape shop. I did notice however there is a brown residue all around the outer rim of my centre post. Could this be the reason for the lack of production? Please help, greatly appreciated.

Since you are at a loss as to the issue, how can you say you know it is not any particular piece?

What TANK are you referring to?
What Ohms is that tank running?
What are these OTHER Devices that you say work fine with the Tank?

Information works wonders in solving problems. :)

Seems you may have e-liquid accumulation on the center pin causing contact loss - But this is just speculation at this point.

I'm using an Aspire Mini Vivi Nova, 2.2 ohm bdc coil. They are both brand new. It works perfect on my MVP 2.0 on 11 watts and gives twice the amount of vapor then the anymod at "18 watts". I don't think its juice on the post because like I said earlier.....it's brand new. I'm thinking it's some kind of oil from manufacturing.

Sounds like maybe you need to clean the area around the center post as instructed with alcohol, then see if the post id too far pushed in to make contact with the center post of your coil on your tank. something is not making contact. You said you just bought a new battery for the device. Did you do a full charge on it before you used it? Hope your problem gets sorted out for you. I know it's disapointing to look forward to a new toy and it not work right out of the box.

Ya I fully charged the new battery and yes very disappointing. I've been trying to clean it off with a q tip and rubbing alcohol but it's just not doing anything, weird. There's a brown residue all around the outer rim of the post. Want I'm trying now is I have a little container I filled up with alcohol just enough to reach the centre post. I have it sitting in the alcohol going to leave it there prob over night. It's just deep enough to touch the centre post and not get into the actual control head itself
