Im new to RDAs and have viewed just about every video possible to help assist me. Ive tried just about everything and cant seem to get it right at all! The local vape shops cant help with builds do to insurance reasons, so this leaves me stuck with a mech mod and an igo-w paper weight. I just need to see how its done right! So if anyone can assist me in this id be more than.thankful!

Edit....

I have viewed just about every thread on here. Its gotta be something in my build technique!

I have an Igo L that works great. I take a 20 gauge syringe needle and wrap a coil using 30 gauge kanthal wire around it 16 times. Make sure the coils don't overlap as you're wrapping. Then I push them together. Then I hold them together with a pair of tweezers and torch them with a micro torch until they stick together. You can use a regular lighter as well. This works out to a 3.7 ohm coil. If you have a mechanical you'll get a better ohm of around 1.7 by just using 28 gauge kanthal. Everything else above applies.

Then I bend the 2 wires coming of the coils to form a u shape and slip on on the center post and the other on the side post. Tighten the screws down and trim off the remaining wire. I then get about an inch long block of organic cotton. I roll it until it forms a point. Wet the point with your tongue and slip it through the coil. Trim off extra cotton and push the rest in the cup. Saturate the cotton with juice. Test it to see if its producing vapor. Put top cap on and your set.

Special note : You should check the ohms with a variable voltage device, multimeter, or whatever. Make sure you fall into the safety zone on a vaping chart like this http://www.newthinktank.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Vaping-Power-Chart.png

I hope that helps

if your just using regular imr your way beyond the amp limits meaning the battery is most likely choking, and dangerously over its limit. most standard high drain batteries stop at 10 amps lol. after that your in pipebomb territory. if this isnt one of the ultra high amp batteries, good chance the internal resistance is struggling to power this thing. not very hard to understand why a store wants nothing to do with this.

Why is dual coils at .3 hard to believe? Maybe im saying it wrong?

not hard to believe, just hard to understand why anyone would try to draw enough wattage to light your bedroom 10 mm from your face lol

I totaly understand that all! Theres a reason im not using that setup anymore... cuz i found out that it was pushin .3 and i dont like to go under .8 myself. i was basically telling you that so youd understand the hole size.. i appreciate you guys and your respected very well by me for watching out for me. My mane concern is this is my first build using 30g and just need to know how many wraps to get this to produce.
