Help RDA Shorted

How low is your build? .4 and below can display shorted. Also check your center pin at the 510 connector. It may be pushed up too far and is allowing the pin on the Hana to touch the housing and causing a short.

The RDA came with those pre built coils and it was reading at .3 ohms. It was working before but now it just is on and off shorted message.
I dont have any wire to so i cant atm :/ im just wondering if its the mod or the RDA or just maybe the build is to low or just doesnt work?
I would first suspect the RDA, but it could be any or all of those. Open it up and see if you can see any loose coil wires or wires sticking out where they can touch the cap or something they shouldn't be touching.
Yes i have tried tightening thr screws. Ive played with the coils. I snip the leads with nail clippers and its hard to get it all so there are long leads but i make sure they dont touch the posts.
Yea when you screw the rda in the reader do you screw it in all the way until it wont go anymore?
Ok so when i screw it down all the way it reads .03 ohms byt when i unscrew it slowly it reads .25- .30 ohms. Im so confused lol
You either have something loose in your post holes/screw holes that's causing it too short, or your 510 pin on the bottom is loose and is shifting about, causing a short. 0.03 ohms doesn't sound normal. The way you describe unscrewing it back to normal-ish resistances makes it sounds like the latter. Do you have any pictures?
I dont have any pictures but i could take some i would just have to figure out how to post them.
For now, just make sure the 510 pin on the bottom of the atty is snug, and that you can't tug the center post out from either direction.

The 510 connection has a silicone ring around it so I don't think its going anywhere?
My authentic dna 30 gets really finicky when you get to its low ohm limit and will display a shorted message, even if it had previously fired the atty. My first thought would be to throw a build in it with a higher resistance and see if that resolves the problem before messing with the atty or device. If thats the problem its an easy fix, if not, one variable eliminate.
