HELP! Riva 510 battery cutting off.

Just got this riva kit a couple days ago. Been using it with a LR 2.0ohm boge cartomizer. So far I am very impressed with the whole set up. However, the 2nd battery in the kit decides to cut off not even a second after i press the button.

I will press the button, start vaping, and then after a second or two will cut off then if I continue to hold the button, it may or may not come back on. So then I will have to press it again to get another vape in.

Did I get a bad battery? Has this ever happened to any of you?

Is the battery fully charged? Does it do the same with a different carto?
Sounds like you received a faulty battery. I had an Ego that did the same.
Contact the retailer about a replacement. Most will send you out a new one and you return the defective one after you receive the replacement.

yes fully charged and it happens even when there's no carto attached. it's a once in a while problem though, so I'll still get good vape most of the time. just once in a while the problem comes up again.

I just emailed my vendor with nearly the same problem. My second battery was dead too, but when I put it on the charger, the light was green as if charged. On the other hand, I've been unable to get it fire long enough to even use it. Most of the time the light never glows at all when the button is pressed. I think it's maybe the button/switch, or just a bad battery.
