I have only had my maxx fusion kit for about a week or so, and one of my batteries is already dead. I think juice possibly got inside the cartomizer was making a bubbly sound and then the battery stopped working. I read with manual batteries you can put the metal tip in alcohol and it can clean it but not auto because the hole :/ any suggestions?

I think I saved a battery once, by using a kleenex. As soon as I realized that I was refilling a cartomizer while it was still on the battery, I took off the cartomizer, quickly grabbed a kleenex and twisted a corner of it into a narrow "cone" or point. While holding the battery upside down (battery opening down) I put the kleenex-point through the battery opening to sop up as much of the liquid as I could. I kept doing this with a dry section of the kleenex until it came out dry. I'll never know if the battery would have died without this intervention, but I'm glad I took preventive action, because the battery is still working just fine.

I feel for you Whitevans - did the same thing with my very first MF battery. I felt like I'd drowned a friend. Still can't bring myself to throw it away.

Just to be safe I now use only fresh cartos on my MF batteries during the day, and then refill them to use on my manual batteries in the evening at the comp or watching the tube.

Thanks for all the advice guys.. MFB was a great friend and definatly a power house on the front lines. I remember we where at the local steak house one day just smoking away without a care, and all threw wal-mart too!... It will be missed.

I didn't fill it with the battery on or anything.. I was just being dumb and filled it up in the dark :/ and probably got a few drops in the inner tube and just started vaping right away then got the bubbling sound and turned it upside down on a paper towel and tried it a little later... then dead MFB yes the MF B(different meaning for MFB here slim66 knows it.) died. :(
