I took back my fuhattan, the button was sparking on the outside between the edge of the button and button housing. They switched it out, same problem. I took that one back and they gave me a panzer clone. SAME PROBLEM!!! its not the Atty or battery, what gives? Do I just have bad luck? Does my body just ruin mods? I don't get it...makes no sense. Build is .35 ohms using Sony batteries

When the Same problem affects multiple mods I look at what is common to all the situations.. That leaves the Atomizer and the Battery or the operator.
Try a higher ohm build, just for fun, you still get sparking? Try a different battery, just for fun, do you still get sparking? try a different atomizer, just for fun, do you still get sparking?

If you've gone through the troubleshooting 93gc40 mentions, and assuming you've tried both the battery and atty on other mods you know to be good to go, look at the 510 connection and center post of the atty and make sure they're only in contact with what they're supposed to be in contact with (510 to mod body only, center post to battery or battery pin only). Some atties just don't play well with some mods.

You can also try slathering threads in conductive grease like NoLox or OxGuard.

If that doesn't work, it's time to roll chicken bones and call in a witch doctor. Or repeat your troubleshooting. There are only so many variables to consider, and I believe the suggestions in this thread have about covered them all.

Best o' luck! :)

If you want to supply the BBQ wings.. just give me a few minutes and I will be happy to at least provide the chicken bones... :)

Mines a clone too, got it on kidneypuncher on black Friday for 5$ and I love it.

As my carbon fiber fu came in the mail I returned the mod and got an RDA. I think it all may have had something to do with the way their mods were stored. Maybe micro pieces of wire ended up in places they shouldn't or something. No more mechs from that store

Basic rule when buying mods, authentic or clone, always take them apart and clean them to make sure it will work properly. Some times you will find tiny burs/slivers of metal. Also it helps remove any tarnish or corrosion that may have built up in storage/shipping.
Makes life a lot easier when you take an extra few minutes to clean it, Mech Mods ARE NOT PLUG AND PLAY DEVICES!

this thread took me back to the good old Sigelei 19 mech days lol.
We used to mod the crap out of those buttons to stop sparking, hot buttons and getting zapped every so often when the fire button was pressed.
It boiled down to the switch assembly and there were lots of fixes, from simple to elaborate. If you search "Sigelei 19" in the forums there used to be a thread devoted to the mod and the extra work folks put into them, myself included.
Perhaps some of you who are having issues could find some tricks there?
Side note- I'm pretty sure the 19 was the most scandalous mod at the time for copying the nzonic top cap *gasp* back when the first shots in the clone wars were fired. Those were the days lol.
