What's up everyone!?

I've been searching the forum looking at the mounds of info provided and still having some trouble picking out my first kit.

I'm debating between Mini Protank 2 and the Ego-CC Smart Kit 1000mAh.

I need some help from you guys to make a final educated decision.

The price is basically the same at $60 each. I found a 25% discount on the mini.

If the decision goes to the ego should I get the 1000 or 650mAh? Difference in price is only $5 but I don't know how it helps me.

Thanks all!
Mark

I am a newbie too, but I just bought the Smokeless Image VOLT starter kit for 50...includes 2 batteries and 5 cartridges

BTW...I am/was a 2-3 pad smoker..but that should only be 18 mg..not 24 which kicks my .......I recon they mean heavy is a 4-5 pad smoker?

the e-cig to analog conversions are way off when i started vaping i was using 18 MG and vaping like a steam train all day long. i was a half a pack a day smoker before i started vaping. get some different strengths and figure out what you like.

EDIT: i would smoke like 3 cigs in a row in the morning 3-4 in a row at lunch and 3-4 after dinner

You didn't provide a link to your kits, so there's no way to judge the quality of the batteries or of the juice delivery devices. The Kanger Protank is a glass clearomizer that I am familiar with, but I don't know what juice attachment that the Ego batteries come with.

This picture dictionary of the more common juice attachments may help you decide: Is it a carto, a tank, or what?

Sorry Bad.. didn't realize the kits could differ so much. Thought the starter kits were the same for each brand.

I don't have any experience with the ego cc clearomizers, so I may be biased, but I would go with the mini protank II kit. I've been very happy with my kanger bcc's: protank, protank II, mini pt, mini ptII, and just picked up the unitank. Plus with the kanger kit you get two batts vs just the one in the ego cc kit. Always need to have a backup if one fails or just up and dies on ya...

I just got the mini pro tank 2. I use it on a ego ctwist usually...sometimes on my itaste vv3. Its a cool little tank. I use regular pro tank and vivi nova also. I use vivis for darker juices cuz they really clog up bottom coil tanks like pro tanks. You should get the 1000 battery if u plan on vaping a pack a day. The 650 will leave u scrambling. Also keep in mind the mini pro tank only holds 1.5 ml and u might have to fill 2-4 times daily. Maybe think about a pro tank 2 full size and an itaste vv3. U can get that set up for 60 bucks. Its a very reliable and nice set up. Gettin an vw/vv battery now will u save u from the obvious upgrade in a few months time.

All those options make my head spin ..

Yes. There are many many many many options. Pick one in your price range that you think you would like. You're golden.

Then, you have the process of finding the e-liquids you like.

It isn't as easy as just buying a pack of Marlboros or Kools. But it's a lot more fun! And unlike cigarettes, it's easy to avoid the garbage. You shouldn't try to get THE answer at the start, because it's different for everybody.

I started with an Ego-C kit. Different but used the same coils. Worked ok but a lot of leaking issues, small capacity..etc. Looks like some of that was addressed with that design. Flavor was pretty good though. Have a mini protank now and like the setup a lot better. If you're going for a kit then between those two I think that mini protank kit setup is a lot better deal.
