HELP! Trouble with my Ego Tank system.

I've also read not to use 100% VG, I usually only vape Johnson's Creek Red Oak and thats 100% VG.

Their pg-free line isn't too think. I think you'll be fine. I am using a 100% VG from vaperite and it's not super thick like some 100% VG juice I've had (alien Visions). Even if it is real thick you can thin it with a couple drops of distilled water.

Been using mainly 70/30 on mine (BWB juices) has been vaping like a champ! Tastes great, plenty of vapor, no clogging or leaking of any kind yet. 80/20 and 50/50 have also worked fine for me so far.

As already mentioned, primer puffs without hitting the button help out a lot and twisting your carts a few times after puncturing is a good habit to get in to.

I had the same thing happen. Try this (from Vicki @ Cignot), it seems to have worked for me.

It is not wicking down as fast as you are vaping... try drawing on the ecig without activating the battery and allow it time for liquid to get down there... also, leaving an air bubble in the tank helps it wick better... These are sensitive to the viscosity of your juice and there is no standard for that :-(

This is slowly but surely working the taste away! Thanks so much for that advice... I just started sucking and blowing (lol) into the cart without holding the battery. I seem to only get the taste every once in a while and its not AS bad.

I have the same problem with mine also but it helped when I cleaned out the atty by using a Q-Tip and putting a few drops of vg in the atomizer and vaping it first.
Now I only get the burnt plastic taste when I take long drags.
I use 100% VG juices without any problems in my eGo T-tank, it wicks just fine!

For those that are still having the burnt taste, try Sense Field's suggestion (on the other mega tank thread--he has a vid for it).

Just gently push the wick down a bit with a paperclip.

That solved my wicking issues with the tanks (I use 100%VG, thick and dark).
