Help troubleshoot a broken mod?

Made an okl2 mod and cant get it to work. I went back and checked all the connections. All of the ground wires i twisted up and soldered to the ring on the 510. Looks like the ground Comming from the neg of the battery sled came loose. Would that be enough to not make it work at all? I ask because i slightly pulled up part of the green backing thats around a connector on the back of the chip. Lol! I could lay it back down and after the solder it seemed to be holding fine. Before, i shove this thing back in its tiny box, i want to make sure my efforts are not futile

A bad ground would definitely break it. Good luck.
