Hmmm, is it making a connection between the 510 connection pin on your topper and the bottom of the 510 connection in your Vamo? Are you getting an ohms reading of 9.9 or 0.0?

Sometimes you have to get down in that 510 connection on a Vamo and wiggle the pin back up as a tank or atty you used may have pushed it down. It's super simple, get in there with a small flathead screwdriver or tweezers, press down around the outside of the flat connection top you see, and work your way around it sort of genly prying it back up. Works like a charm.

Hope that works for you, good luck!

This is really weird because i tried everything and no matter what my vamo just says "short" when i push the firing button. Now from what i read is that its shorted, but if u touch the inner pin to the outer one it still says "low load" which is what its supposed to say when it shorts, so is this a permanent internal short? Does anyone know how to take the guts out and check for shorts? Im checking with health cabin before i try anything drastic, i mean all i did was try to screw in a atty and i pushed (by accident) the firing button when i was screwing it in then it said "low load" from then on no matter what i put on it or even if nothing is on it no matter what type or length of battery is in it it says "short" when i push the firing button!

I came across this thread doing a search for the same issue. I had it apart and measured across the 510 connector (ground to pin) and it's not shorted there. This is obviously a problem on board itself. I wonder if there is a way to reset this Vamo V3? On the Sigelei, you can hold the button down while you put the battery in, and it resets. I'll keep looking around and see if I find any other solutions. Otherwise I may just buy another Vamo circuit board module (fast tech sell them for like 12 bucks). It's the V5 so it'll be an upgrade for me. Not a bad price vs. buying a new one.

I dont think its broke, i remember using an iclear30 on my vamo v5. With 2.2 coil head stock.. It was in there for 2 1/2 3 weeks ( the head ). One day i went to go and take a vape on it, was using other mods but my iclear 30 is for a specific juice. Took a vape and only lasted for a second. So tryed again nothing said short like yours, put my nautilus on there samething, other tanks same thing. Opened all tanks checked all coils. The iclear30 coil popped so i changed it, turned off the vamo v5 took batt out then back in on etc. then re did RMS mode put iclear30 back on and been working fine for awhile now. It even took a 7ft fall O_O and survived ( the x.1 is now slanted lol ) works like a champ, i dont hear the rattlesnaking now lol hope that helps man
