Sorry Bonnie, Foggy just informed me you picked up a Z at vaporrange ( great shop) its an excellent and safe regulated mod , you'll need a tank like a nautilus/ nautilus mini that's not sub ohm .....sub ohm tanks/ heads will not work on the Z , but that's not a problem, just pick up a nautilus at 1.5 ohm s ( I'm not sure of the choices in ohms ) and you'll be good to go.
Thanks so much. :) Feel much better now. I was freaked out, but I'm glad you cleared things up for me. Thank you @Foggy Road for helping me find answers.

Thanks. So this big, scary red warnings are like blowing an atty as a worst case scenario?

If I go with a Pravari v2.5 and some AW IMR batteries (I have no idea what that means, but I imagine they say they are AW IMR in the listings) what tank would you recommend? Remember, I'm looking for highest quality possible with lowest possible maintenance. (ie: I'm not threading wicks or wrapping coils myself.)

With a low power regulated tube mod and AW IMR batteries the worst case scenario is you damage the coil if the power is set too high for it. AW batteries are the safest chemistry you can buy. The Provari doesn't fire if the power is set too high for the coil connected to it. So there cannot be any kind of safety issues or burnt wicks with this particular device.

I only use atomizers in which i can build coils. So the only tank i'd recommend is the Kayfun v4, but you'd have to build your own coil and wick. Much simpler than people would have you believe. It's only when a vaper starts building sub ohm or sub ohm multiple coil assemblies which require a lot more power that things start getting tricky. It's then that a good knowledge of battery safety and ohm's low is needed. Building single coils for a device like a Kayfun is a walk in the park, doesn't take long to get a handle on and only takes 10 or 15 to make. You can't have any accidents with a low power device. If someone says otherwise then i'd say that the level of incompetence of someone that has done that would be off the scale. I've never heard of anyone having an accident with a Provari or any + ohm coil.

This thread has been perfect for me so far. Ohms and watts scare the curse outta me. I have a math disability and never was good at keeping track of that stuff, but my VaporFi plat II is not satisfying and I want so much to get into better flavor. I thought of pairing the Crown with the Kanger sub vod but maybe mods aren't quite as scary as I thought.

@DC2 Cloud Blowing is on its way out. Most devices can do big clouds now. The reason the majority like those BIG devices is because more vapor equals less nicotine MG NEEDED equals more flavor per draw. I will agree that cloud chasing gives bigger devices an elitist stigma. The other good thing about bigger devices is that juice price gouging will not last. No one that does 3mg or less will continue to buy $25 bottles that are the original premiums. Especially when these premiums are made from the same 5 or 6 brands of concentrate vendors that anyone can diy for cents on a dollar. If one is so inclined to do so.

Wait to get your zmax. See if you like it. If you like the form factor, size, weight, then you will like a Provari. If not, then you won't like the Provari.
