help w/my ego

can't tell ya WHICH one it is...I believe it's an EgoT - cone is longer than my happy ego & tip is the resevoir(that sounds bad!) which holds a couple ml of juice.
Anyhow - sis-in-law brought it back from Germany...2 pack..wifes works awesome...flav..vape - mine though...tastes like plastic w/minimal vapour, same juice?? Bad atty?

It says egoT on it...but then, so does my happy ego - but the cone on this IS the atty & is longer than happy-ego
As I mentioned it does work...just not as flavourful as it's mate...& not as much vapour

looks like a type-B atty and tank which is more of a cylinder compared to the cone of the A type. I have only had the type-a which i suspect is what your wife has, as to the bland tasted and vapour, well i got rid of my ego tank attys a couple weeks after i got them. It was the same story as you, one atty would be ok, then one would be bad, I would clean them out, try again on and on and on, i just gave up on them, bought some boge cartos and never looked back

The ego tank attys supposedly work better with thinner juice, and there are a bunch of videos about fiddling with the wick to increase the absorbtion.

Most likely a wicking issue. There are a bunch of threads over in the eGo forum on this subject. Can't remember if it's push the wick in or pull it out to fix this issue.

Too bad, I actually like the idea of the fillable tip - I have boges & a whack o' cartos from canvape - dripping seems the tastiest way for me w/lavatube, just not convenient @ work

As a few said, maybe the tank forum would be good. I started with the ego-T and had four atties. None of them hit the same and only one was decent. I moved to cartos quickly, then found my sweet spot with atomizers and dripping. The batteries are fine, and work with so many things that you may find something you do find more consistent for flavor and vapor.

For cartos, the big ... smok dual ones seem to be pretty decent. I use them in the car driving to work then switch to an atty at the office

The 'Stardust' bandwagon has started up at Canvape. Maybe that is your best way out. It has the large eGo thread and is supposed to by-pass a lot of the eGo short-comings. I'll know more about it by this time next week.

Try a SmokTech DC Mega Cartomizer. They are great. Best carto, imo.

I think you just got a bad atty. My ego-t starter kit worked brilliantly (both units). When I ordered some replacement attys one of them was a total dud. I didn't bother trying to fix it, just chalked it up as a loss. Frustrating for sure, but I would just order some replacement atty's. Order ego-c atty's, not ego-t, as you can replace just the atomizer head in the ego-c units, rather than the whole atty/cone piece. That being said, I just got some Smoktech Dual Coil cartos, which is my first venture outside of the ego-t atty/tank system and I gotta say...they're pretty awesome!
