First off, Welcome!!! It really burns me that these companies out there are doing this to folks who don't know better. I hope that Karma is a real thing and that they will eventually get theirs!

Vapor Kings is a lovely company. Rob is a gem and was kind enough to talk me through my initial problems over the phone. He is a little more expensive, but not by much and he stands behind his merchandise. At this point, don't run yourself ragged trying to get the very BEST price, just get the thing in your hand and get started....then come here with the questions that I promise you will arise.

If you pay with a credit card all they have to do is credit your account. When you receive the order you can refuse the package or do not open it and return it to the company. Let them know it has been returned and tell them to credit your card. If they refuse file an unauthorized use with your credit card company. This may take a couple of weeks but you will eventually get your money back.

If you return the package unopened keep your tracking number to prove they received it back. There should not be any problems. I have closed my account (debit card with my bank) and this is very difficult especially with all of your bills set up as automatic payments.

There really should not be a problem in getting a refund.

Don't feel bad about getting ripped off. I did too. I paid $150 for a KR8 which sells for as low as $40. I got caught in the same trap. I really hoped a PV would be the thing that finally helped me quit analogs. I just didn't do enough research before placing an order.

I've since ordered a mega eGo which should be arriving in the mail today. As soon as I determine that my eGo is in good working order, I'm putting in for an RMA and getting my money back.

I'm not sure if I'll buy another KR8 or not. I like it, but I think the eGo will suit me better and I'm really interested in getting a GGTS with an AFS when they are back in stock.

Merchants get royally screwed by credit card customers.
They are a ruthless pack of thieves some of them.

In this instance, when someone really has a legitimate problem, they most certainly should use the process for what it's actually there for.

I just wanted to touch on the amount of usage real quick..
it was said 4 hours...well that varies for everyone....I've found that regular cartomizers are about roughly equivalent to half a pack without risking burning the filler..
so a pack a day smoker would likely go through 2 cartos a day..

but I wouldn't go crazy buying cartos right off the bat either...it may take a little to find the right nic level and flavor that you like...

I would also suggest vapor4life for menthol cartos...they have some of the better menthols that I've had..

Thanks guys. That is what I am trying to figure now about the flavors. I will check both of these out. I like the idea of menthol variety starter packs. I got another KR808 from Valuevapors and also order a bottle of their menthol refill but then saw where lots of people here don't like that brand.

MistressNomad gave me a link to get liquid that is supposed to be Salem flavored. They also have Winston and Pall Mall for my mom.

I can really see that this is going to be an expensive habit. I don't even have my ecig and am eyeballing that ego!

well the vapor4life people specialize in the KR808d-1... it's known as a vapor king there (yeah there's about 3 different vapor kings)...
and though I myself arent particularly fond of most of their flavors...their menthols are good...particularly the smilin special menthol which tastes a bit like an andes mint.. but overall alot of places the menthols you get more mint than menthol...where as theirs seem to actually be menthol

Thanks for that info. I am going to do that. The total charge was $390 for 3 kits and he is saying that it will take 30 days after they receive it before they even issue a check. I don't think it is fair that I sjhould pay interest on that $ while waiting for him to send a check. Thanks alot for the info!

I just started about a week ago with the Joye 510 from Vapor Pro. When I ordered I got it with the Marbelo Menthol preload and a refill bottle. I also smoke/d Salem Gold Box and while the Marbelo Menthol is not exactly the same it seems pretty close. Even so at this point I like it a far sight better than the analog Salem Gold.

As for the credit card scam you are in, be careful. Hi have disputed charges before only to have the credit card company tell me to bad after a week or so. Keep all your paperwork, especially everything that indicates that you returned the merchandise.

Did your mom buy the auto restock stuff on a credit card or debit card? With either, make sure you contact the bank and/or CC company and tell them that the company is not authorized to make charges to your account EVER.

I bought the Joye 510 based on the information I gleened from this forum and although I am happy enough with it, I wish that I had done a bit more research and started out with the eGo. I just placed and order through goodprophets for their eGo maniac kit and hope it arrives in the next day or two.

Good luck to you and your mom and don't give up. PV's are a bit of work up front but the payoff is sooooooo worth it!

I am having a heck of a time with my 510 batteries though. They just aren't lasting very long. One will last for 15-30 minutes and the other for maybe 1-1.5 hours. I talked to the place where I bought it and they gave me some ideas on how to "reset" the chip but I have my doubts if it will work. At least they said if it doesn't work that I can send it back.

One thing I like so far is that most of the vendors you read about on here are very customer service oriented.

I love the 555. I am going to order some more of that one (I just had one cart, it was in the Tobacco Shop sampler pack #2.) Haven't tried the Kamel.
I also really like the RY4 out of that same pack.

Also, V4L has Wow Peppermint, which is AMAZING. Excellent flavor, and so much vapor it is super fun, especially for someone new to vaping.
