Isn't a cartomizer just the thing with the stuffing in it? I get my juice from cignot and vaporsect. I don't think it is the juice. I bought some really crappy juice from a smoke shop and the atty lasted for a month. It was the only one that lasted that long. :)

I didn't see this get answered, not sure.

A cartomizer = atomizer and cartridge in 1 piece. You can get a box of 5 BOGE for $8 at LiteCigUSA and only $2 shipping - so good for small orders.

I purchased my Joye 510 starter kit back in June. I've been using one atty daily since I got it back in June and it's still going strong. (The other one died recently) I'd like to know why some atty's last a long time and others only last a day or two? The only reason I can think of is that I've only used the short, original type 510 battery's with it. Any other theory's?

Clean juice makes a big difference but atomizers hate me, too and no matter what cleaning method I use, I seem to make it worse. If I can manage to make them work better after a cleaning, it will maybe last 1/2 day, which is better than nothing, I guess. I've had better luck with mine lately by just blowing them out. I don't even rinse them with water anymore. I'm in the process of testing a pack of cartomizers right now and if I can get even 3 or 4 days out of one, I'm already better off because 5 cartos cost about the same as one atomizer. Futzing with atties isn't worth the time for me anymore. I hate them, they hate me, it's all good. lol

I'm not sure there really is a rhyme or reason to why some attys last and some don't. It's just how it is. I know that sounds trite, but there isn't a better way to put it. My fiance and I have been vaping since the middle of September and we're using the same attys that came with our kits. I haven't had one die yet and only one DOA from what I got last week.

Are you sure the center post of your attys is still making contact with the battery? Sometimes they can get pushed up a bit by putting it on a little tight and not make contact. You can gently pry the center post back down a bit and see if it will work. Cartomizers rock IMO. I love them! :) I keep a couple attys for emergencies and to test new flavors, but primarily use Boge 510 cartomizers. The same issue can happen with the center post with cartomizers too, so be aware of that if it is indeed the problem here. :) Best of luck to you.

Oh one other thing. When I get the attomizer it has all this stuff in the bridge. Is that supposed to be there?

You can remove the wick (all that stuff in the bridge) from the atomizers. I do it to all of mine after having one of them burn and rendered the atty useless. I haven't had a problem with the atties after removing the wick. Here's a great video on how to remove the wick.
