It sounds like you are using the atomizer and cartridge system rather than cartomizers. I would think that either your cartridge isn't filled completely and you're getting a dry hit or your atomizer needs to be cleaned. A new atomizer comes with some kind of primer that needs to be cleaned off and old atomizers get gunked up. I only use cartomizers so that's as far as my knowledge goes. If you search the forum there are instructions for filling and cleaning carts and attys.

Hi Snowbally, first I hope you sort all of this out.

Now I would suggest you put about 2 to 4 drops directly onto the atomizer prior to putting the cart on. This will not only "prime it" for the taste, but will also help in getting things going :)

Also with that particular device you can direct drip, so don't even worry about filling up the cart... It would be easier to use a drip tip but you can do this by just taking the end off and putting back on when dripping.

Let me know if it helps :)

IF you are talking about a 2-piece (atomizer that screws to the battery + cartridge that you push into the atomizer) then you just need to blow out that atomizer. As mooreted stated, they ship these atomizers with a primer on them, which tastes awful. Put the threaded end of the atomizer in your mouth and blow, hard, holding a napkin up to the other end. Keep it up until no more liquid is coming out. Put a couple of drops of your juice directly onto the atomizer before attaching your cartridge.

It will still taste a little funky for the first 10 puffs or so. Then it should go away.

Try dripping some juice in your atomizer and blowing it out into a tissue. Re-attach your atomizer, add 2 drops and vape that without inhaling (4-6 pulls depending how long you draw on your ecig). Add 2 more drops and try inhaling. A long, slow draw into your mouth, part your lips and inhale slowly then exhale through your mouth and nose. If you're still getting a nasty taste, the primer isn't gone yet. Remove it and repeat the steps above. You only have to deal with this once, when the atomizer is new. I drip almost exclusively. The fiber in cartomizers mute the flavor for me and tickle my throat. You can't get a cleaner, more pure vape than with dripping. It takes some patience but it sure is worth it. Good luck.

It says on the box that they are atomized cartridges.
I tried putting the juice right on the atomizer without a cartrige and still tastes so bad.

OK, these are cartomizers. Do not put juice onto the thing it screws into -- this isn't an atomizer, it's your battery. In fact, take a tissue and twist it into that hole to mop up the juice.

Now Google "how to fill cartomizers" and watch some of the videos.

I just tried blowing it out and nothing?

It is a burnt metal taste.

Filling cartos
The first fill of a carto is the most important. Get a blunt needle and while holding the carto horizontal squeeze some juice into the batt end. Immediately place the carto down on a flat surface and roll back and forth many times. This ensures juice gets down to the batt end of stuffing. I then fill the stuffing at the top end until the stuffing looks like a "slushie". Finally blow the excess out the batt end into a paper towel.Clean off the threaded battery end. Once you get the hang of it you won’t have to blow/ waste juice this way. If it is not filled properly the element will burn out and/ or the taste will be burnt. Many times I've overfilled a carto and hear the gurgling sound and have "rolled" it on a flat surface and the gurgling sound has disappeared. In my experience it seems the batt end of the carto is always starved for juice.
Cheers, Vapoor.
