help what am i doing wrong?

So ive had this Trident v2 for about a week and loved it on a single coil i built at 1 ohm on 28g kanthal, but the draw of cloud chasing made me build a dual mini coil at .6ohm and i wrapped it via the "dragon wrap" demonstrated by rip tripper. i drench it in juice and have the trident on its dual airhole aimed at the coils but all i seem to get is an extremely hot? harsh hit that almost makes it hard to breath...any advise?

Welcome to sub ohm lolz

Try a regular micro dual coil and test the difference. I don't make my coils small diameter, I think most people do 1/16 I use a screwdriver that is a little bigger

ah well it is a regular dual coil wrapped on a 1/16 drill bit...

you want the airholes pointing at the open area of the coil, not the covered area. I believe. Or I could be wrong. Haven't tried the dragon wick yet.

My guess is that you have a hot spot in your coil. Basically at the point where you are getting that burnt hit take the topper off, fire, it and look for any hot spots. Generally checking your wick or adjusting your coils will fix it.

Well i think i have figured it out...i ripped the wick of and dry burned and re-wicked with a little less cotton and now it is ALOT cooler and actually flavorful, thanks everyone!
