HELP! What is going on with my 901?

Ok so i have multiple batteries but one specifically if i were to connect it to the atty will automatically start heating the atty and get it to the poit where the atty is sizzling...literally. I will then try to vape off of it but just gives the really burnt nast taste and none of the flavor. after it is done with heating the atty it the LED will blink saying that it has timed out.

anyone? this is driving me nuts.

all help much appreciated!

Auto or Manual Battery?
In or out of warranty?
Warranty.... contact the vendor for replacement
Out of warranty - rap it on the edge of a table. Sometimes it unsticks the internal auto switch. Try to vape with it, if it continues rap it again. If it continues gently use a paperclip to probe inside the atty connection hole. If the led goes out, try to vape, if it continues repeat.
Possibly tossing it at the wall while cursing may help tho results vary.
If it further continues... toss it in the dead pile and get another one.

If its broke, you aren't going to hurt it. So you might as well make sure its dead.

How old is it ?? I have to agree with everything in the above post. I have had some luck with the "knock-it-around" technique - but never long lasting. Sounds like your battery's life is over.

that is an auto battery, your switch is on some liquid went into the btry.time to be replaced if you continue trying you could kill the atmy.Just try lalesa advice

I had the same problem with one of my wife's Pink 901 batteries. LED showed it was constantly on, until it timed out, flashed, then fired right back up. I tried all of the steps Lalesa described, and no, doubling the cursing and throwing step didn't help the battery (tho it DID make me feel better for a second), but eventually just ripped out the connector for a mod (good call bigozone

I buy ONLY manual batteries now.
Automaticly switched batteries only last me 2 weeks ,
and not even that long if I drip haha.
Over the past 8 months I killed aound 100 auto 901 batteries,
almost all of them (connectors and ,or Led's)
have been recycled into one mod or another.

Ok so i did the whole beating the hell out of it method and it didnt help any but to relieve a bit of stress built up from a long day at work. I picked it up after throwing it on the floor 10 to 15 times and it was acting as if it were tesing me and kept on blinking and screaming "hahaha Im still alive but not gonna do any good for ya". So i think I will just tear it apart and see what will come of it in the future. Thanks for the tips and tricks everyone. Feel free to keep em comin.

100!
901 auto batteries would have been a deal breaker for my
(E-cigarette) style of vaping experience .
If not for the invention of switched batteries I was just about to give up on the commercial pv's altogether and use my mods exclusively. I'm so glad they addressed the problem because my mods are either passthroughs tethered to
a battery pack ,or they are flashlights with an attomizer,or they are 7" long
copper pipes with an atty,or a black plastic battery box...
not so great in public,but workhorses at home.
