I'm ready to place my order and I want to try the XL Manual battery. Which one do I get?

$17.50 - XL KR808-D style VK auto battery

    or

$16.45 - Extra long VK manual battery with single logo

    Thanks in advance.

    Jim

    Hi Jim,

I had the same dilemma last week when I went to place my order, and after reading the various comments on this sub-forum from people who have both, I decided to go with the new one. I agree with PawPaw's comment, and since I already have one of the older models I thought I'd try the new one. Since V4L is always improving their products, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the new one. Hope this helps.:toast:

This seems as good a place as any to ask, since my eyes are crossing trying to find the right thread for this.

Can someone direct me to a video on how to use a manual? I've been using the autos and just ordered a manual but have no idea how it works.

And completely off-topic, I was in Costco last week with my lovely Leaford lanyard on and the young woman at the food sample stand said, "I have a holder just like that." I asked if she vaped and she said yes. I asked what kind and she said, "Same as you" - V4L. I told her I was vaping butterscotch at the moment - she said she had peach. :D

I don't have any videos for you, but all it takes is just press the little button about 1/2 a second before you start to drag. When you're done, let go.

Nice story. I've never run into another V4L user, except the few I got hooked.

Well, now that I have the manual and pretty much have the hang of it, I do like it a lot. I seem to get more vapor from it. Is that common?

The only problem with it is that I haven't found a good place to "park" it when I'm carrying it because it's easy to accidentally press the button and I'm afraid I'll have to charge it more. Even with the wonderful Leaford lanyard, which has built-in manual button holes, the casing has loosened a bit so the batt slips down past the hole on a regular basis. Does anyone have any good ideas for what I can put this in that won't press on the button? I have the large V4L case which does secure it, but that's pretty bulky. (I'm talking about a shortie manual here).
